This is my favorite pizza place. The pizza has a very thin, almost flaky crust that has great flavor and stays very crispy around the outside of the pizza. They cut it into squares ("tavern" style). When you order Villa Nova pizza with a group of people, make sure to call dibs on a "corner" - one of the four triangular pieces . On other pizzas its the part that no one wants....on a Villa Nova pizza, people try to get them first - the crust is that good! Their sausage is excellent. Eating in there is a very minimalist experience, and just not for me. My favorite is take out just as its coming out of the oven and getting it home while its still piping hot.

I was unaware that Villa Nova in Lockport shut down and I was used to just googling "villa nova near me" and ordering pizza from there. Tonight, I did the same thing (But ended up calling the Stickney location) by complete accident and ordering a pizza. I drove to the lockport Villa Nova and it was dark and empty. I checked the phone number I called and sure enough I had called the Stickney Villa nova instead. It was a 45 minute one way drive from where I live so I called them to explain the situation and they were very nice about it. I apologize greatly for the confusion and thank you for understanding and being so nice about it.

The BEST pizza around! Forgetaboutit!!! No one else can even touch their classic sausage pizza. The tavern style crust is thin and delicious, the cheese and the sauce are a perfect blend of beautiful grease that drips down your hand as you try to eat a slice. This place is been around for 60 years and is great every time I ordered from there. Got to be my all-time favorite besides GIORDANOS which is a totally different style!!! They got a make the sausage in house because no other pizza place I have ever had taste just like it… Very unique and delicious. When I come back home I got I have Villanova!!!!!!!

A unique Stickney / Berwyn pizza institution, with very thin crust, sweet sauce, and the usual suspects of pizza toppings. Despite the thin crust, its typically not super crispy, something I rather like. This pizza tends to be quite polarizing, and is definitely worth a try if youve never had it before. Thin crust cheese and sausage is a pretty solid standard order. For those wishing to branch out a bit, double dough itialian beef and giardiniera is pretty excellent.

We lived in Berwyn for 10 years and tried several good pizza places locally, but this places is the tops! It has thin crust, just the right sauce and very good cheese. We are still craving this pizza even though we moved out of Berwyn 9 years ago. I always stop by on my way back from Midway to pick up a few to take home to eat in Naperville. We really have so many styles to choose from being from the Chicago area, but this place has some great pizza.

The Girl that took the phone order new I didnt have a menu and helped allot. Was very understanding even though I was ordering on New Years Eve. When I came to pick up the pizzas, I ordered 2, the girl at the front was real polite and even told us stay warm on one of the coldest days. Very, very observant this girl, I never heard that from any other pizza joint. I rate them 4 on the product and 5 on the service.

Great customer service. I love it when business call you by your first name. It makes you feel welcomed. The pizzas are so delicious. As soon as you walk through the door the lovely pizza aromas hit you. The kitchen is see through and you can see that everything is made fresh. It seems like it is family owned as well as run by the family which is great. I definitely recommend thos place.

Everything....... I have been coming here since was a child that couldnt hardly even walk. I was brought here buy my parents and the food has been extremely exalent every time. The staff have never disappointed us. This hands down is the best Pizza place to come to! This should be a 10 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ star place to come to. Its been a enjoyment each and every time!!! Very thin crust cut into squares with great sauce( you dont mind a little salty>>?). Order family style. Best value and you wont really put any away in the frig cause you cant stop eating. My advice tell yourself..OK only 6 squares..thats it!! NO MORE.. go ahead I dare you..

We just stopped by for some single slices to go...and they were great. Every pizza from then on out has been exceptional! Update: my new favorite is buffalo chicken. Its a good one. Maybe I will see if they will do buffalo chicken and bacon next time!

Ive been getting pizza here since the 1980s. Its the best and I dont go anywhere else for thin crust anymore. NOTHING is as good as villa nova. Crispy crust, flavorful sauce and fresh meats and vegetables. Consistently delicious!

Not only great pizza, but an incredible history. Mob historians know this place was an after-hours hangout for mob boss Sam Carlisi (cousin of the owner) in the 1960s. You might have sat where Chicagos most powerful man sat!

Bob H. 3/11/2012. My wife and I moved into Stickney in 1976. We re-located to Wi. in 1992. Villa Nova to this day is still the best pizza we have ever had. I wish we could find pizza this good around here.

Great pizza. Their homemade sausage is incredible - lean, seasoned perfectly and no casing. Pizza sauce has just the right amount of spice. Generous cheese but not too much. All around delicious.

By far the best place for thin crust pizza. Had the pasta and meatballs, and the meatballs were phenomenal. Definitely a go-to place for me.
