On a recent business trip bound for Washington DC, my husband and I were stranded in Chicago for the night. Our original plan was to arrive in DC a day early so we could enjoy some of the many wonderful ethnic restaurants DC has to offer before our hectic schedule with "steak-and-potatoes only co-workers". We were disappointed, but that soon changed. We were directed to the nearest hotel where we didnt need to unpack, our bags had made it to DC, and were directed to Carluccis for dinner. It was great! Very nice people. Our waiter said he was new to the restaurant but everything he suggested was fabulous! We had a really good bottle of wine, Monte Degli Angeli Barolo 06, an antipasti, a cesare salad to start. We decided not to take leftovers for obvious reasons, and split the house pasta specialty, Linguine con Prosciutto di Parma e Basilico made at our table. WOW, it was great! We saved just enough room for a slice of their marscapone cheesecake. The perfect end. This was by far the best meal of the trip. We will now make a trip to Chicago just to take our kids there, and to order more so we CAN have leftovers! I may not mind getting stranded again if we can make it back to Carlucci Rosement.

Nestled amongst the hotels near Ohare, odds are youll be dining here on business or with coworkers on a business dinner because you work in the surrounding area. Sure you can find better Italian food in the city proper but youre in Rosemont and your options are limited. Yes; you will pay a premium because they know youre on an expense account. The good news is that the food is decent and so is the wine list. All of the appetizers are good and come in large portions for sharing with the table. You wont go wrong with the calamari or the bruschetta. As for your main course, Ive had red meat come out slightly overcooked so stick to the pastas. Ive never had dessert here but the post dinner espresso is good. I dont know where there is a parking lot for this place so youll probably be stuck using their free valet where you watch them drive your car 20 feet into the lot right in front. This annoys me but it seems to be the way it is around here. Suck it up and dont forget to expense the valet tip.

A very nice Italian restaurant. Yippy drive up and they have free valet parking. Greeted by the hosted, we were seated immediately. The devour was old school, lots of dark wood, but the place was still bright. Had this 3 tier appetizer, calamari on the bottom, mozzarella cheese, toasted bread and tomatoes on the second, the top tier was bread for dipping in olive oil. I ordered the special, sword fish, calamari, Angel hair pasta and veggies. The fish was very fresh, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were crisp and colorful. The thing lacking wad the seasoning. It was a lot of food to. Im not a wined drinker, but I understand they have a pretty good wine list. For dessert I had the Apple pie. It was pretty good. A very enjoyable evening, looking forward to my next visit there. The service was very good, but our server questioned the amount of the tip he received. I will admit that it was only 15%, but to come back and complain about it, really?

The first time we went to this restaurant was on Valentines day 2017, and we lived it! Buy yesterday, Fathers day.... so disappointed! First, I got in / woman/ and after a man. The hostess for some reason decided that she will talk to the man first! Ok, I get it that she cant check the door to see who got in first, but it obvious that Ladies first! I told her for how many and she didnt say anything and disappeared. At some point we got a man sitting us. My husbands steak wasnt cooked how he wanted and we had to return it to cook it better. My person reason for going back there was the brulee cream. I was so excited to have it and the thing we got was something awful. Looked like someone wanted to make it, but didnt come out anythibg like cream brulee, and looked like it was gone bad. So, for 3 main dishes and 3 glasses of wine, we payed 150$. Dont think I will go back! For these money, I can get better food!

I ate dinner here as a part of a company dinner event. The food was excellent! We had a multiple course meal that started with and excellent thin crust pizza. We then enjoyed two types of pasta - chicken or beef, both of which were very very good. We then had a salad. My entree was a steak, which was okay. The gellati dessert was very good as well. The service was quite slow and it took a long time to get our drinks. When the servers were around they were quite attentive. There was a magician that did close up magic - he was very good and very funny. This was a great experience that would have been phenomenal with a bit better service.

We were in town for a concert at the Allstate Area. Carluccis will pick you up from your hotel, take you to their restaurant. Then take you from the restaurant to the concert. Then, they will make sure that everyone that they brought to the concert returns. The Shuttle experience I cannot brag enough about!! Then, the dining. Because we were a little rushed they immediately knew what to recommend for us girls. Linguine con Prosciutto di Parma e Basilico Linguini with Fresh Basil, Prosciutto di Parma and Peas Tossed Tableside Inside a Parmesan Cheese Wheel $21.95... Absolutely amazing! Totally shareable! What a delight!

We joined some friends for a nice dinner before heading out to party in Rosemont. The service was prompt; very professional staff that made you feel like family welcoming you home for dinner. The food; every one finished their plate, it was hot, tasty, and flavorful. The grilled Octopus was fresh, very tender and on point with the right flavors but not enough of an appetizer to share. Ahi tuna was also very fresh and prepared with a polenta base and green olives. Each plate was balanced with the right portion albeit an Italian restaurant. Overall, we all were extremely pleased with our visit and would book again!

Nice atmosphere in this restaurant (feels upscale Italian). Service was great. We had mixed reviews on the food though. I tried the seafood risotto; it was good/decent, but I dont think Id order it again (just nothing special about it). I actually loved the house salad; it was far better than the risotto, and the appetizers we tried were great. The menu was full of great options and if be happy to come back and try new items.

I am a vegan and they advertised vegan but when I arrived they had nothing labeled. The server tried to say the eggplant parm was vegan. I had to question him. I am pretty sure my food had dairy and he lied. He also served my food with his pen in his hand and he contaminated my food. He was not a friendly server. I had to remind him I was vegan with every interaction. This place is probably great for non vegan or vegatarian.
