I tried cookies and carrot cake, I am glad I did because both item were delicious the cookies were so soft and dissolved once we put em in our mouths. Guess went back day after got more cookies and Orio cake this time. Also notice bread from a day before at discounted price everthing was so good only 4 starts instead of 5 because they dont have different size options when it comes to cakes and they dont have variety of wheat and whole grain breads mostly just white bread.

We were coming back home after a long day of peach picking and decided to try this place out. Many different kind of cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and breads. Im sad to say not that many donuts. We tried the macaroons (mint and mocha) and bought four cupcakes (smores, cinnamon, lemon meringue, and strawberry) (all for a pretty affordable price) - all were splendid! The cashiers were very nice and patient, as it took us a while to decide what we wanted.

Not as good as the original Baumans bakery at 123 rd and Harlem but much better than the previous bakery at this location. Doughnuts are good, coffee cakes are a bit dry and have a tad too much dry bread texture, pies have a terrible crust, almost leather like, not flaky at all. I am still glad they are in business at this location. The only other better bakeries like Webers and Wolfs are several miles away.

I was a little cautious, only because Ive done my homework as far as really good bakeries go, I have only found 2 in all of Chicago...(Im going to be 56 this year) that I myself would spend my money.. I now have 3 places that I like... Ive been going here since they opened, every week!!! At least once a week! And I love that they have a different deal every day! Wednesdays is 5.00 coffeecake and its delicious....

Customer Services were great the pastry were not so good . The Sweetroll were a little hard it was not fresh. The Maple bacon long john were not tasty . I order also 2 Cannoli I had better. they are the worst either they dont have stuff or its stale and now their closed on mondays without even giving anyone notice. The best excuse they told us that they only have one baker and he cant do it all by himself will never go to them again and suggest if your looking for pastries look else where

Absolutely the best bakery around! The cupcakes are out of this world, the maple bacon long-johns are hands down the best throughout the Chicagoland Area, and the staff goes out of their way to make your experience first rate. So glad you are in the neighborhood.

Good value, mediocre taste. Almost daily specials, nice staff, big pastry sizes, reasonable prices. The taste and texture of all 3 of my pastries was a solid 3 out of 5. Good, not great. Besides product, the business seems to be awesome.

Ive never had a BAD donut or pastry from these guys! I stop in every morning and grab a glazed or apple fritter at the Oak Forest Metra station and am never disappointed. It may be bad for you, but it tastes ssoooo good!

Nice service and plenty of goodies. Cupcakes seem to be their thing. kolache was big and delicious. Really, you can share them. They dont specialize in breads. Nice looking bread though. Didnt buy any.

Whenever people from my workplace get doughnuts its usually from here. Amazing doughnuts! In fact, I never got something there that I didnt like. The service is very homey and prompt. WAY better than DD!

Just went their today got some chocolate doughnuts and two pumpkin whoopie pies. The doughnuts were phenomenal and the whoopie pies were good but very rich. It wasnt crowded either.

2 words: bacon donuts. My only issue is that their other offerings tend to be on the "too sweet" side. Id like to see more whipped cream instead of traditional frosting.
