Ok, most of the reviewers here are absurb. Let me explain some things. First of all, I love Popeyes. My wife and I dine there at this particular location, so I cant speak for any other Popeyes location. We only get the Chicken Tenders, we can care less for the Mixed Chicken. That being said, the reason the food takes about 3-5 minutes (people are complaining about "long" wait times?) to make is because the food is "literally" being prepared for you at the moment you order, as opposed to some fries, biscuits or chicken that has been sitting around. As soon as you can taste the food, you can tell.... it is VERY hot and VERY fresh, and they are consistent in doing this almost every time. Huge kudos to Popeyes for doing this. Seriously guys, what other fast-food joints do you know that actually take the time to do this with every order? As well, I think just in taste alone, Popeyes is far better than any other fried-chicken place I have ever been. But I only get the tenders :)

Cajun fries were mushy as if they were made yesterday, while the biscuits and chicken were fine. However, the reason for the rating is that I had a coupon for what I ordered, valid and within its due date; after finishing my order I gave the cashier the credit card, and then I exclaimed immediately after that, "Hold on, I have a coupon," and looked through my pockets. The cashier completely ignored that and swiped the card just as I found the coupon. I requested to cancel the transaction and redo it with the coupon: the cashier refused, and so did the manager. I understand my partial fault of not giving them the coupon before I ordered, however, their attitude has lost them a customer in return for less than $10 earned. And its not the amount of money Im complaining about, I wouldve acted the same way had I lost a dollar or a grand.

My coworker ordered 3 piece meal as I did. I didnt think to look because I didnt expect what was about to happen. I walked to the drink stand, and sat down. I found out later, after I toughed it out, eating bad tasting spicy thighs, that he asked to have his pieces changed out for FRESH ones. I suspected my meal was old, but when it is spicy style, it looks darker anyway. The taste was off. I wont go back.

25 % overcharge when you order all dark meat. I have ate at numerous popeyes locations in Chicago as well as locations in suburbs such as Palatine and Buffalo Grove. This was the only location that overcharges you with the order of all dark meat. They will over charge you with the order of all white meat as well. So you make a choice.

Every time ordering a box or large size, this store advises it would take 15 minutes and bring it to me after 30 or more minutes. They dont even care if the order gets ready until I ask. Every time.

Foods good . But the workers never give you your order right. Been there 4 times always have to go back in store an tell them I missing my order. They never can get it right.

Only location that never has any Cajun sparkles.... its like the spice that sets Popeyes apart and they seem to not realize it. Nice clean place besides that.
