I went to Illinois Bar and Grill for the first time tonight to meet up with some friends. It was busy with the Black Hawks playing tonight, besides that going on the waitress seemed overwhelmed and confused with all that was gong on. When it came time to pay everyone gave her their cash and ccs, well so did I but this waitress came back and said she had an open ticket, well it was my open ticket. When I told her I gave her my cc she gave me a look like I was lying to her. She then went to look for it and after a few min a friend and my gf started looking for it. The sad thing is: The waitress NEVER EVER APOLOGIZED!!!! to me for LOOSING MY CC!!! Long and Behold I will not be going back to Illinois Bar and Grill .

Service is horrible and bartenders are always waisted. I waited 20 min before a bartender asked me what I wanted, I could understand if it were busy however, there were only about 5 people in the bar and all of them had a full drink... They had 2 bartenders who both looked at me and my friends walking in and just kept talking instead of helping us. They put a drink on our tab that we did not order... Over all worst bar experience ever. I hope the owner does something about this.

The Chicago Burger is a large burger for 6.95. Added cheese of your choice only 75 cents. Best burger I have had in years. I went with 2 friends both loved the burgers and ice tea. We split one order cheesefte fries which were very good and with the large burger we left comfortable and full. All agreed to go there again. Good for excellent prices.

Came after a wedding with a group of 10 people and the bartender was so rude. Long blonde hair in a Ponytail. Not a fan. Bar was empty at midnight on a Saturday. She didnt want to serve us as she wanted to close early. With that kind of attitude I can see why this place was empty on a Saturday. Probably would be alright with better service.

Went there for a fundraiser for my friend, they only had one bartender for the event which was guaranteed to have at least 75 people. Drinks came slow and the food service was so bad, my buddy and I walked across the street for food.

We went on a good night. It wasnt busy and the dining area is spacious. Our food came out in a timely manner. The burgers were cooked perfectly and they were good. Also, their onion rings are very tasty.

Great food. Friendly staff. Good service. Great looking building. Ive never been disappointed when I come here. Corned beef is better than any Irish bar Ive been to and this place isnt Irish.
