Que dire de ce restaurant ? Rien, tout a été parfait : le raps, le cadre et un accueil chaleureux et conviviale . Notre pause déjeuner a été faite dans ce Joliet 66 Diner. Cest une très bonne adresse, à ne pas manquer qui se trouve au 22 W Clinton St. On se retrouve vraiment dans lambiance Mother Road quelques kilomètres après avoir quitter Chicago.

My husband love, love diners and this one did not fail. One of my husbands favorite sandwiches is a ruben. He really enjoyed the one at Route 66. He says the ratio of meat to bread was on spot and the seasonings use to flavor the meat was very tasty. He also had their chicken florentine soup and salad which was very tasty. I had the classic blt and just like my husbands sandwich mine was fantastic. I know you might think its a blt, but Ive had some blts where there wasnt enough bacon and the bread was too thick. Id say all in all the Route 66 Diner is a great place to eat. When ever Im back in this area of Joliet Ill be sure to come back for a meal.

The food was okay. But they seemed to care a whole lot about there money then there customers. I had to go to the atm at the bank around the corner and the owner was all pissy because he had some court ticket. Made me feel really degraded because I was short on cash. Im glad I paid the ungreatful people so I could leave. I went there expecting a good ol American diner but it just looks like a place in my town called "the cottage" probably wont go back the next time I pass threw Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica

Hours listed online said they were open till 3, showed up at 2 and the place was dark. I asked an employee if they were closed (doors were still unlocked) and he said they were. Polite people but I walked in the freezing rain from the train station to go here and was pretty disappointed that I couldnt even eat. Unfortunate that I had to give them a bad review without even eating there but I saw this place had good reviews and was excited to try it out. Maybe some other time :/

This place is like NYC diner with a Midwestern sensibility. Every single staff member, especially the waitresses (who in my opinion should be tipped with supreme generosity) are incredibly friendly, at the top of their game, and work with the speed of mercury. And the best freaking pancakes Ive ever shovelled in my mouth. I love this joint!

This is a nice cozy restaurant with good breakfast, lunch, dinner options good food to eat. This is a historical restaurant with good breakfast & lunch specials. It closes early at 4:00 PM during the week days & weekends. Good delishous food meals. This restaurant can handle groups.

I heard this was a good spot. So a group of us ventured out after work and boy were we suprised. The Salmon was on point and the meat tray was very very good. It has a very nice setting inside and the staff are very friendly and helpfull. A diffident place to revisit.

My food was cold. Butter on toast wouldnt melt. Bread tasted chewy and stail. Bacon and eggs were cold. They advertise shoe string hash browns which is what i like, but served up half done sticky potatoes. I hate that the old cook us gone

We were looking for something different for breakfast when this place popped up. Wow! Great menu, amazing staff, and frankly if you dont try the chorizo and scrambled eggs... you may have to question your other life decisions.

Around the corner from Harrahs...nice change from high prices! People were friendly. Being from the South I found the food to be every bit southern. Came out hot too.

The eggs and grits was cold the sausage was bought from aldi, and the coffe was watered down. I will never eat here again. Oh i founed a potatoe in my grits.
