As far as the quality of the food, I actually have no complaints. on the whole, its good; I would imagine it varies from cook to cook, but that is to be expected. However, that doesnt make up for the problems. In the last 3 years, Ive tried Huddle House approximately 10 times. On exactly 1 (one) of those occasions I actually received what I ordered. If I write other reviews youll see this isnt a common complaint; I usually only write something when a place strikes me as either extremely bad, or extremely good. when you receive what you order 10% of the time... well. 2 examples: I took my aged mother to breakfast; the place wasnt busy, perhaps 12 other customers. I had had previous experience at this point, so I stayed simple, an order of Biscuits & Gravy, which I received. My mother ordered 2 eggs over medium, toast and Bacon. The Bacon & toast was perfect; the eggs came over VERY easy, uncooked on one size. She explained that she wanted the eggs over medium to the waitress; who without a word took the eggs back. a few minutes later she was back, with hard fried eggs. My mother once again explained what she wanted, eggs with a solid white and the yolk cooked on both sides but still slightly runny. once again she received eggs over VERY easy. back it went. back it came, this time undoubtedly the SAME eggs, unchanged in any way. the eggs made 6 trips. However, the majority of the errors have been in simply not getting what I order; I would call in a order, drive up to get it, something would be missing. I admit it took 3 times in a row of this before I started checking my order when they handed it to me, but those 3 times I made it home, something was missing, my wife would call up and tell them about it, they would apologize and say we could get a free order next time; all 3 times, I went in to get the free order and no one knew what I was talking about. I know it sounds petty. but this is a level of bad service that is positively weird; it did not happen within a short timespan, this is over about 3 years; different times, different cooks, different managers. But like I said, the food IS good, if you keep your order simple; just pay very close attention that you are getting what you pay for.

I moved from Rochester Hills, MI last September 2013. My Husband and I have been going to Huddle House since we moved. We love the Huddle House. Tonight September 3, 2014, my Son who was visiting from MI treated me to dinner at the Huddle House. We came in there were only a few patrons, we were waited on as usual, but Huddle House got very busy with carry outs and patrons. There was only one cook and one waitress. The waitress informed me that they were fully staffed. We waited for our food for over half hour; then to find out after I asked about our order that our food was not even started. The waitress a blonde woman had our order mixed up and had a very hard time with the register in ringing patrons up; she was at the register for almost and a half hour. The cook had to find our order and make it but gave us the wrong order because the waitress had it mixed up, We had to inform the cook that our order was wrong but accepted it as is and get my waffle and my sons French toast that was forgotten. We did pay for what we ordered but the biscuit and gravy and has browns that were mistakenly given we took home. Now the Owners of Huddle House should reevaluate the waitress and make sure there is always 2 waitresses at 7pm. It was clearly the Huddle House was not staffed appropriately. That night was a total mess and this situation should never ever happen again; because the Huddle House could lose customers even by word of mouth! LQ

Usually love this place but today the waitress was BEYOND rude with a terrible attitude the minute we sat down until after we left. We tried to complain but no manager and the online feedback kicked me off 4 times. Id of welcomed a chance for them to make this horrible experience right but Im not starting over again for the 5th time and theres no option to talk to a human being at thier corporate number. 2 stars are for the past good food and service but as in most things your only as good as you are now.

Attempted to call to place a Togo order 20 - 25 min b4 arriving with no response. I pulled in and saw they had a few tables full, i went to the register to order and was met with a we are closed. They are open until 10pm. It was 9:45 when I was greeted with a we are closed. So I turned and walked out. Very disappointing, drove across town for nothing.

We waited 45 min to get our food, they had lost your order, so was not to happy with that. the food was not bad and people working there was nice but the order thing I was very unhappy with. would I go back I would say yes, it was clean in there, I think they should have gave a little off the bill tho ...

This Huddle House was remodeled about two years ago, and is much more pleasant than the previous incarnation. Recently had a late breakfast - food, service, time, etc., were all average. There are better places to eat in Paris, but the 24/7 hours make it one of the only late-night options in town.

the other day, we had a late breakfast. my wife had a patty melt with fries and i had a full order of biscuits and gravy and sodas, the bill came to $19.16, a wee bit steep for a roadside diner. im not cheap but, i want value for my money and i didnt get it here.

Ordered a breakfast that comes with a waffle. Asked if could have toast in place of waffle. To be told i could have toast in place of biscuit. But there are no substitutes on waffle. Remembering why I like waffle House.

Food was good, service was ok , but the waitress wasnt so nice, a bit standoffish. In ordering, hash browns came with order but ketchup was not offered. A bit expensive for a road side diner.

They really need bigger tables for a larger group of people...no more than four people can sit at a booth...more can but its uncomfortable because you have no room
