Great sports bar, if you like that kind of thing. YaY Sports! I was dragged here for lunch by an indigenous business associate, so we could discuss sales, and so I could undoubtedly, pick up the check. The atmosphere was typical sports bar, inexpensive basic furnishings, because lets face it, if you have skimpily dressed female servers, beer, more tvs than should be allowed by law all showing sports with closed captioning, and ice cold beer, there is no reason to be frivolous with nice things, because as sports lovin, red blooded, meat eating, American Men, were just going to get drunk, brake stuff, and pee on things anyways, so theres no reason to spoil us with tables that dont wobble, because if your beer spills because of the aforementioned table, the aforementioned skimpily dressed server will simply bring you more. YaY Sports bars! The food was actually pretty good. I had the Macon Bacon burger, ( how cute is that, right? They spelled it M-a- c-o-n instead of m-a-k-i-n-g, pretty cleaver, so as to not directly insinuate 2 members of the Suiade family having coitus. Talk about marketing genius) and a bowl of soup. The bacon cheeseburger, comes in two fun artery blocking sizes, which I dont recall the weighs, but it amounted to big or even bigger. The burger was cooked nicely, seasoned well, generously sized with plenty of thick cut bacon, ample amounts of cheese and all the fixings. (I love saying "fixings" or maybe it should be "fixins") The service was ok, and the prices were reasonable, based on the portion sizes and quality of the food. So to sum it up: good food, sports, basic furnishings, because we cant have nice things, refer to the 3rd paragraph, skimpily clad servers, beer, televisions, closed captioning, sports, and beer. YaY Sports bar! If you are in to that sort of thing....

Usually we have alright service from our waitress. This time we felt very uncomfortable. We asked for a certain beer to see if they had it on tap or bottle. She proceeded to tell us that she thinks they dont have. After several talks about what would be similar if she didnt have that one we asked for. We then tried to try something similar. We explained it was a wheat ale. Similar to a blue moon. She then said let me ask the bartender because "she doesnt know much about beer because she doesnt drink it." I could kind of understand if you dont drink beer but your a server at a restaurant who prides themselves on having a large and excellent selection. If that wasnt a displeasure when we ordered food and it came back she almost threw the food down in a upset fashion. We felt as if we werent wanted. We showed up around nine. Had a few drinks and an appetizer and about 35 minutes later finally we ordered our entrees. By the time we got our food we just felt as if we werent wanted and were a pest to this young lady. We quickly ate our food. Got the bill and sat at the bar to get drinks. Before we asked for a box to go she gave us our check and didnt ask much else. I was very disappointed with this experience and was just upset at the overall server. ( upgraded to waffle fries that came out more hard and hardly warm.) Im not sure if I could bring myself to come back. As there are plenty of micro breweries and pubs in the area that seem to know their beers and treat us as a friend. Not as a pest.

Ive been a long time Heros customer going back to the Raynor and Jefferson St. days. Back in the days gone passed, Heros was known for their hamburgers. Simple, delicious and usually cooked quite well. But not anymore...aside from having the perfect buffalo wing sauce, Im afraid those glory days are long gone...at least for me. I feel I should add that the problem isnt the beer. Both the selection, and freshness of their beer is really above par. Also, the way that they have their beer menu could be a lesson to some other places (Tap House). The menu is easy to read, categorized by beer type and a list of all critical information is usually given...way to go Heros! Where Heros falls short is with the current food that they serve. I havent had one simple lackluster meal there...because of their convenient location, and beer selection, Ive had numerous lackluster meals. I almost feel like I want to rate it higher, afterall I do like the beer and I have a long history of going to this establishment. But the food, over the years has gotten pretty sub-par. I say that Id like to rate it higher, but the results are in how little I go here now...which is hardly ever.

I came here ready to write an angry review regarding the past couple of times Ive visited. Both times the front end staff seemed to drop the communication ball which resulted in our parties being frustrated and left in the dark. When it happened again I was convinced I wouldnt be returning, but after sitting down and being waited on by the lovely Ariel it was hard to stay upset and our entire tables mood lightened. The waiters and waitresses always are absolutely wonderful and are willing to help you out or make other accommodations. When I inquired about a beer on all occasions a sample was brought to me, sometimes multiple so I could chose between which one I wanted. And there are PLENTY of choices! The food is moderately priced and pretty good. A lot of it is your typical bar fare, but there are some hidden gems on the menu. Overall, I think this is a better place to go if you want to sit in the bar area and have a couple of drinks and apps while watching a game.

The food was terrible the steak was not cooked right but I did eat most of it ( needed lots of steak sauce) I sent back mashed potatos and recieved nasty fries. Stay away from the onion rings they were cold and tasted like rubber. We did get a app before dinner cheese bread that was bland and the sauce tasted like shrimp weird. As for a sports bar monday night football was on (mn and ny) hmmm they had the radio playing first 80s rock then they changed it to very loud country music. I also overheard the bartender make a comment its up to us ( the staff) what we listen to not the customer. She also made a statement about table 3 during this radio change and that was our table. We decided to leave before the game was over and I asked to speak to the manager but after waiting for 10 minutes we left. This whats the worst food staff and experience for a sports bar I have ever been to stay away!!

Really horrible experience. Dont get me wrong, the food was excellent. But everything you get here you have to ask for. Get a burger well if you want any toppings you have to be the one to bring it up otherwise you will get a plain burger. The biggest problem here was my waitress, Taylor. She came by my table probably 3 times the whole visit. One to take my order. One to drop off my food. One to collect her money. I needed a fork the entire meal but she was nowhere to be found. It was obvious The check was supposed to be split but wasnt. When we needed her to split it we had to wait for 20 minutes. Just the way she talked to us was horrible. I felt discriminated. I would understand if they were busy, But they were not! Horrible visit will never be back
