As a transplant to Chicago from the east coast, I find this is one of the best places for comfort food of my youth. Rosies has a wide selection of hoagies/subs/grinders, calzoni, pizza, meats and cheeses as well as a great selection of home made Sicilian pastries and other delicacies from across the Mediterranean. Their Arancini are quite impressive as is the Italian Sub and Sicilian Muffelatta. Even better you can top it all of wide variety flavored sodas, teas, juices and coffee. The atmosphere inside is very welcoming and the service is warm and responsive. Highly recommended.

Small deli with an old school Italian deli feel. Authentic logs of deli meats and cheeses, homemade (giant) arancini, salads, soups, and a few desserts. Theyve got the basics covered. My sandwich was tasty with mayo and dressing, the bread was soft. I really enjoyed it.

They have the best potato salad Ive ever had and they make vegetarian arancinis. Idk what she puts in the potato salad, but I cannot make it as good as hers so I will happily buy it from here. Seriously one of my favorite delis anywhere in Chicago

A great and quaint little deli shop with all the sandwich varieties you might come to expect. They also have a number of foods behind the counter that you can buy. Theres an area to eat in if youd like as well

I got the corned beef sandwich. It was $8 and it was very small. I actually left a little hungry. The meat was good, but there wasnt really anything else on it. I wont be coming back.
