I need to start by saying I hate Roscoe Village--okay, I dont hate, I simply dislike. There seems to be a need for a good go-to place,and Roscoe Village doesnt provide that deep-seeded desire. Well, at least so I thought. I came to Four moon for the first time today. It is brilliantly coy in its presentation, yet unbelievably charming. The beer selection could rival any bar in the North Side of Chicago, and the food was comforting. Im so stoked I found this gem, I can once again be reminded of the oddly comforting moment of not knowing what to eat and having the ability to go to a "safe go-to." Fair Warning: If youre looking for something trendy and hot, like a flash in the pan, go else where. This place only offers intellectually stimulating atmosphere, and intentional conversation.

I tried for a long time to make this my local pub. It has the look/vibe you would hope for, but seriously after 6 months of living in the neighborhood Im done. Constantly overcharged. Every round of two beers becomes three on your bill. You order food and watch the cooks play pool while running back to the kitchen, taking 45 minutes to make 12 wings. Give me a break. Neighborhood dive my a**.

Great local pub. Fantastic beer selection, nice wide open front when the weather is nice, and a good amount of seating for the space theyre working with. Had a couple pints of Gumballhead on tap and a giant plate of nachos. Legend has it the grilled cheese is the best in town, but I didnt have a chance to try it.

I cant believe I am just now discovering this spot. Four Moon Tavern is in the heart of Roscoe Village. The food is yummy and the beer selection is great. I love that they have a beer of the month, I cant wait to go back!

Literally, and I mean it, the best wings. Crispy and flavorful, they take a while but worth the wait. Cozy neighborhood atmosphere with friendly staff and great beer selection, and a great outdoor patio in the summer.

ate brunch here yesterday. nice outdoor area and casual atmospehere. food seems secondary to hanging out with friends. would be nice after work or later in the day as there were interesting drink specials.
