This restaurant is the highest quality Chinese cuisine Ive ever had. I am somewhat of an aficionado of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai foods. The food is cooked fresh when ordered. The Hot and Sour soup is exceptionally well made with complex flavors. The sauces for each dish are made independent of one-another. Each individual sauce has its own spicing and characteristics to compliment the meats and fresh vegetables. Every other restaurant I have been to uses the same sauce for multiple dishes and assumes the customers do not know the difference. At Shanghai 1938, you and your developed taste buds are respected and treated to the highest quality flavors. The prices are too low. I usually over-tip just because it seems right. Their lunch special is absurdly low priced. Go there and try anything you usually get anywhere else! For me, the curry chicken is unavoidable.

it was nasty and sticky. If you want good chinese food eff this place and go to Ming Garden,Prices are better there and service is great, food is also 500000 times better.
