Blue Farmhouse

Very Clean and friendly! I had the Lettuce wedge which was fresh,crispy and with real bacon and blue Cheese. My nephew has the crispy chicken sandwich-plain on bun..it was delicious..he is 10yrs old and loves it everytime he goes there. We split an order of reg fries. The chicken and fries tasted like homemade from the 70s..before all of the synthetic oils and horrible things added. You have your choice of fountain drinks..I had the Seltzer water/lemon-lime...so happy they offer it! My nephew stood for 15 min trying to decide what to drink...thought he knew it would be the root beer but then searched thru all of the drinks and finally chose Hawaiian Punch..he said there were too many choices..he does better when there are fewer to pick from. On the way out he filled up with a little root beer which was his original choice! They have quite a few booths to sit in which are comfortable and generous. Also have tables and chairs. I will go back and try cajun fries and have the same Lettuce wedge or crispy chicken. My nephew told me the chicken is Free Range and no microwaves are used...thats a biggie for us!

If anyone really thinks this place has a good burger has not explored too many options. Im not a hater i try it say ill never come back months go by i try it again for convenience since i live in barrington. Out of all the burger joints within the barrington palatine 10 mile radius. This is definitely bottom shelf id say kookers is probably only the worse burger in barrington. I guess when you have had outstanding quality burgers its hard to enjoy anything less so i could be a lil too harsh on this review. They are way too chain like the tomatoes and onions are ice cold from the fridge. The fries are alright. The only thing that sets this place apart is the chipotle and jalapeno ketchup. Google burgers in the surrounding area before you decide to try this place. Kostas in palatine is a greek restaurant they dont even specialize in burgers and theres smokes meatheads without a doubt

5 stars. Why? A) Barrington is hurting for a good and fast place. B) They are not limited to the normal burger, cheeseburger, and bacon cheeseburger. They are creative. And theyre always innovating. C) They have heart. Ive been there twice and have only been met with folks who have a servant heart. Celine was the manager when I went last with a large group and she wanted to make sure we were happy and taken care of. D) Bacon. Put it on the chili cheese fries. E) They have that Coke machine with what seems like an infinite amount of flavors. F) My wife is vegetarian and they have a few things for her. G) They are for the community. Just check their walls and menu. Give them a try. Hope you find this helpful.

I have been eating at various Meatheads locations for a few years. I stopped at the Barrington location and ordered my usual 1/3 lb burger which Id basically a double hamburger. When I opened the bun I had a single burger. I walked over and asked for the manager who seemed to busy to be bothered. I explained my problem to the young lady who started laughing until I told her I didnt think it was funny to cheat her customers! Perhaps its time for the owner to have a staff meeting!

One of my girls favorite places for lunch. Great burgers, fries, dogs, chicken tenders and shakes. We typically order ahead and pick up our food through the drive-thru. My only critique is that the drive-thru can be a little slow because most dont call ahead. If theres a line at the drive-thru then youre better off running inside to pick up your food.

went with 4 other people, 2 of the orders came out wrong and my daughters burger was burnt. when we told a worker about our experience, she said "well were really busy". Being that I work in a restaurant, that was horrible customer service and will never go back again!!

Great cajun fries! Burgers are really good too. Super friendly staff and ultra clean. Love how they are part of our community. They are slow though. The wait always drives me nuts.
