Food is good. Decently priced. Cream soda is very good. The reason Im giving two stars is because The lady that works the counter with brown hair is someone who shouldnt be working with people. She always has an attitude, at least when I see her she does. Ive crossed this restaurant off my list of places to eat because of the way that employee is. She had an attitude when I asked how much longer on my food after waiting 15 minutes for two mini burgers. Second experience would be when I called at 7:27 and the phone kept ringing and ringing and then when I hung up and called back at 7:30 they turned the phone off, so I went up there and she was very rude said they stopped taking orders at 7:30. Third experience would be when again I called in to place a order and when I said my first thing, she inturrpted me and said we dont have that, so I asked again to understand because the menu I have said they had it. She said no. I said okay and started to say my order again and she hung up on me. Didnt ask me if theres any else or anything. This restaurant has lost my business now because of this employee. Three strikes and youre out.

I like the food and all but the lady in the front has messed up my order twice and I tell her that and she gives me a dirty look at me and looks at me like Im stupid. She messed up my order tonight and when I told em they messed up they didnt even fix it the right way they just did a lazy job on that but I was nice about it. But overall they got good.

Unfortunately the food is really good, but they should hire people that enjoy being there. Its always a struggle to get pass the attitudes of the workers when you call in to place an order. Makes it tough to trust the people who make your food. Food is excellent but service outweighs food & the service isnt as good as it could/should be.

The owners routinely work the cash register here and they smile the whole time. The sandwiches are excellent and the pricing is very fair. The homemade root beer is a must have in Alton. Check out the sliders for a snack.

This is a fun friendly place. Plus its cheap and affordable with out compromising flavor. The best steak! And homemade rootbeer is the best! Not to mention everything from wings to burgers. Real home made food :)

A fantastic family owned spot with burgers & steaks . Hands down best burger joint in Alton. Yes, even better than a Fast Eddies burger! Dont forget to get their homemade Root Beer or Red Cream Soda!

The full size 1/2 lb. burgers are fantastic, the people are nice, prices are fair. Havent tried the root beer but I should. Dont be scared by the "locals only" look of the place, try it out!
