Prices on meats are beyond high!!! Ground beef at $5.99 lb! Chicken prices, shrimp, beef all outrageous. Deli never has fresh food, they are always out of food( fried chicken, mac and cheese)... not to mention you cant get anyone to help you!! One day I went in to get my sick mother some soup, went over grabbed a "small" soup bowl and was rang up for a large. I said, " wait thats a small container. The cashier then calls the manager over that marches over without saying a word to me goes over to the cups and said it was in the wrong place! I then said, "well that is where I got it and there are literally like 30 on there?" She then starts pulling them off one by one to see if Im lying! Omg!! I said, " just give me the cup and forget it". She then starts to pour the soup from the larger bowl into the smaller one... I said, " youre kidding me, right?" Long story short, I paid the larger bowl price and walked out! Horrible customer service! Oh and if you drive through the parking lot close to closing, youll see several employees supposedly gathering buggies. In actuality the are cursing and acting like wild children outside...even with the store manager watching!

Had an issue with some thawed and refrozen food. Ken and Christa from customer service were absolutely kind and professional about the matter and had me taken care of quickly during peak hours. Excellent customer service, excellent selection, and a clean store. I dont shop anywhere else.

This store is easy to navigate which is strange for a supermarket. Also, samples are plenty during the weekend and they are usually good. Parking is horrible and it is wise to situate yourself near the exit for easy in and out shopping.

Publix is THE place for groceries in Valdosta. They stack coupons, which means I save money. Like every store, though, you have to know prices, but generally I shop their buy 1 get 1 free specials.

Sushi here is outstanding, my experience with Publix sushi in the past has been ok, never great. This sushi was as close as it gets to eating raw off the boat! And hands down the best in Valdosta.
