*********MUST READ REVIEW********* We came in, three adults, on a Sunday night at 630pm to a half empty restaurant. We ordered our appetizer and our food at the same time, muffuletta cheese bread, two small pizzas and a calzone. We waited 40 minutes and the waitress had come back to the table once to refill our empty drinks, which had been empty for at least 20 minutes. At this point I asked that she cancel our appetizer because, we wanted something to munch on while we were waiting for our food not another entree and almost immediately she came back with our entrees. One pizza was half burnt the other two entrees were mediocre (which in the past we have all had delicious tasting food from this establishment). I witnessed a different waitress caring food to tables on her arms, which the food not just the plates, were actually touching her arms and chest. Later that same waitress, in the middle of the restaurant wiped her nose on her sleeves while caring two pitchers half full of water. She then stuck her nose into the pitchers to smell the contents. After we had finished our meal we asked for the manager and the check. When Dustin the manager arrived we relived the entire experience for him and he apologized and took half off our check. He then offered us two $10 dollar gift certificates. After the manager left our waitress came back with the check and started to clear the table. I had my debit card in my hand ready to hand her and she walked off and said "have a good night". She never came back for the check. Dustin then showed up at the table with two $15 dollar certificates and we ended up giving him our check. As if this experience couldnt get any worse as Dustin was walking from our table everyone in the back clapped and sarcasticly cheered for him saying "good job Dustin" "way to go Dustin". As were walking out the front door one of the cooks, once again in a sarcastic manner, shouted out to us "sorry for the wait" Needless to say we will not be returning to use our $30 dollars in certificates. If anyone reads this and is willing to chance it I would be more then willing to give you our certificates, just comment below. Dont go to Mellow Mushroom in Valdosta, GA unless you want to spend your money on a place that doesnt care for their customers or treat you with any respect.

They may have the beat pizza and calzones in the state of Georgia, I wouldnt know. I went in with my kids and there were maybe 20 people in the place. We were asked to wait to be seated.... I dont know why with only 15 customers. Then when they finally did seat us we waited for our server. I watched the hostess, the manager, and a server stand around giggling and laughing at the hostess station for 5 minutes or so and was a little irritated. A couple kore minutes passed and I noticed this of here server, who was working her butt off, going back and forth fro kitchen to tables; still no service for us. My daughter, who wanted to eat here said lets go somewhere else..... and we did. That is my one and only experience with Mellow Mushroom around 5 oclock on Aug 8th aro and 5 pm. I will not go back, which is a let down since we are moving here. I get better service from Cicis!

Overpriced, terrible service, and mediocre food every single time I have eaten there. Every pick up order Ive placed has been late and had a mistake. The last time, two sandwiches were ordered: requested ingredients were left off of one, and they put feta cheese on the other one that was supposed to have no cheese. (Feta is not on the menu description, I guess the kitchen was feeling Wiley.) I had to stay and have them fix it because of lactose intolerance, and what I got back was the complete wrong sandwich.. beef instead of chicken. I understand that people make mistakes. Maybe they looked at the wrong order. But that doesnt explain the nasty looks I got from someone who appeared to be the manager when the hostess informed her of the mistake. You should offer customers drinks while they wait for you to fix your mistake, not glare at them. Never again.

This is a neighborhood dive bar. The decor is super cheap, drinks over-priced and staff unprofessional. I had shown up for a couple weeks when one night the female scarecrow-in-need-of-dentistry-or-maybe-just-a-bra bartender threw my drink out accidentally. After tipping her on each beverage during the night, she quickly and flippantly refused to repour the one Id been jipped on. I asked for a manager and Muscles McRoy showed up and hes no kind of manager at all. He got really sarcastic instead of handling the problem. This is no kind of conflict resolution. I mentioned Id be writing a review online and they reeeeeally got pissy.I wont be back.Taking money and liver somewhere I feel valued. I hope you do too. :-P

When they first got to Valdosta there were def growing pains, I couldnt find a manager or anyone "in charge" over the age of 24. It was kind of a mess. But they have absolutely improved and seem to be running much more smoothly. Just had fantastic customer service from what seemed like a manager on the phone. I wish I remembered her name but THANK YOU to her. The pizza is always great and although a bit pricey, I think the pizza is worth it if you want better toppings and a nice pizza. Will be back for sure, glad this is in Valdosta.

Came in to town pretty late (9:30ish) and wanted an relaxing place to sit down, have a drink, and a quick bite to eat before heading to our hotel. Our server James was amazing. His cocktails and commentary were superb. We ordered hogies. I had the italian and my friend had the steak and cheese. OMG they were so good. I think the steak and cheese was the best I ever had and will deffinatly order it from now on. We will be back again I guarantee. Tipped James $20 on a $25 check because he was just that great and I appreciate it.

Hey guys. I usually love places like this. In fact, I stopped into this location last week and had a good pie and a beer. Tonight, however I sat at the bar to order a pie to-go. I waited about 15 min just to get a beer and my pizza didnt show up until almost an hour later! The folks were nice but not very attentive. Worst of all, I got back to my place and discovered that the crust is burnt and the pizza is somehow soggy in the center... Now Im hangry and writing mean reviews on Google. :(

When in and ordered a small pizza. Asked to move to a booth to be more comfortable. No communication between staff. Apparently our order was cancelled. We were told it would be at least another ten more minutes after already waiting over 45 minutes. Dont change tables if you want your order or else you will have to start all over. We were ignored by the waitress that moved us and also the one that originally waited on us. Would give no stars but no option .

Horrible service, I guess the mellow they took it seriously....! Horrible prices.... Make your own salad a JOKE! You add all the ingredients and the charge an arm and a leg 2.29 for a slice of avocado...come on... after $14.00 salad I have to ask the waiter if there were joking, i been in different mellow mushroom, but this one they need a new manager....! Really they dont deserve even a star.
