Fantastic find! We stopped by on Black Friday -- actually passed it on the way to somewhere else and thought about visiting there. Being a quasi-holiday we thought to call ahead to make sure they were open... the woman who answered the phone definitely SOUNDED like an owner of a European market. So off we went. Very, very glad we stopped in. The store is in a strip center and is rather simple: aisles for non-perishables and canned/jarred items, freezers on one wall for cold and frozen goods, and then a meat counter in the back with a great deal on eggs ($7.50 for 30 local eggs). If youre looking for Polish, Croatian, Romanian, Latvian, or Russian goods -- you should definitely stop by. And here is where it all gets better. The owner makes various food items and sells those at the front. Today were two "pies" -- basically thin, rolled pastries. We got a meat pie and a cheese pie. They were $3.99 each and about as heavy as a Subway footlong. These were incredible and Id be tempted to drive the 20+ miles to go back just to have these pastries. Next time well buy a whole tray!
