I love Chinese food but this was probably the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The only thing I could eat was the cashews and the celery and the rice; everything else was so bad in taste that I could not eat it. I did not say anything because I was with a group and did not want to embarrass my host but I would never eat there again. I ate cashew chicken and the chicken didnt taste like any chicken I have ever had in my life and it was a bad taste. So I decided to eat the vegetables, and the baby corn almost made me throw up in my plate...no kidding. I took it home and sat there and ate the rice at the table . The next day before my host woke up I threw it in the garbage can .

We vacationed in SSI last week and decided to spend our last night eating Chinese take out on the beach. It was a waste of over $35. We ordered hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef and chicken and vegetables with fried rice. The chicken and steak were so gross and both had a weird texture that disintegrated with minimal chewing. My friend said the fried rice was not like any shed ever had before. And my son said the hot and sour soup was so gross and he refused to eat it. We ended up throwing away most of the food.

We went to eat there last night May,18,2016.. The buffet was terrible, the food was warm, some of the food was hard like it had been sitting on the buffet for a long time. and some of the food was even cold. Around 4 in the morning I woke up with severe stomach cramps and upset stomach. I never complain about food when I eat out, but this was my last time visiting this place. Sorry Fortune House, you get a bad rating from me.

The food tastes great, but much of it was barely warm. It wasnt being kept at a temperature that would minimize the risk of bacterial growth that could cause food born illness.
