We ordered food for our clients wanting to try a new restaurant in the area. Everyone was very disappointed. We spent over $100 and received sub par food. I ordered the 45 South Burger as did several other people. I asked for waffle fries and got a rock hard version of Arbys curly fries. Very hard to chew so I stopped. The buns of the hamburger were burnt. The lettuce was dark and soggy. The meat was over cooked and didnt come with house sauce as depicted on the menu. Could only eat half. I wanted to give one star because I give the benefit of the doubt. When a place has cafe in its name, their forte probably isnt hamburgers. I should have known better but the restaurant also shouldnt offer a food on their menu that is going to be burnt and/or inedible. I have also passed this place when walking in Historic Norcross. They usually have live music and it seems like a nice environment. But Im going to always pass on anything they have besides coffee.

Mom&Son NGA Reviews
Me & the family just recently visited for breakfast. We ordered 2 omelettes & a grilled cheese. Moms omelette was cold and flavorless, the side potatoes were dry and overdone. Sons grilled cheese was dry, flavorless and greasy. But on the bright side, the portion size was fair and the ingredients were quality for both meals. The staff was amiable and our server did his best to please us. I was surprised and irritated that they charged us for two extra coffees to go. The server said that you get one free refill and the next you pay. We think this restaurant could easily make changes to the filthy bathroom and not so clean appearance of the dining areas. Being stingy with the coffee, cold food and the overall not so clean feel is the reason we have given 45 South a two star review for this visit.

Could not be more thrilled with the quality of food, drinks, and service. I had come here a few times for brunch on Sunday and very much enjoyed the food and coffee I got, so when I was looking for a venue for the bridal shower I was hosting I inquired here. Both Jeanette and Gene were so helpful through the whole process and went above and beyond helping with the set up and breakdown of decorations. I highly recommend 45 South for just a casual meal or to host your next event. They truly made the whole process easy and enjoyable!

I really wanted to like 45 south due to the setting and neighborhood feel, and want these places to win over the chains; however, breakfast here was just not good. Eggs cold, bacon undercooked, and french toast soggy, all for premium $. Staff was nice, but little things were annoying, like having to ask the hostess to get syrup and butter, empty creamer, had to ask for a coffee refill, oj in a bottle instead of fresh, kids water in a red solo cup and other weird-isms. Too bad because could be so much more.

Great breakfast from breakfast sandwiches all the way to eggs Benedict. Great lunch also. My suggestion next time yall go is a 45 burger with a ice banana latte best combo ever and the staff is great and also sorry if we dont bring out your food really quick on weekends its just were always packed and theres only 3 waitors and we gotta get everyones drinks and checks and its all just hectic so again sorry if you have to wait a little longer than you expect.

What a cute little place!! My friend Ms. L live just over the train tracks, so we walked here last night. She totally loved their mocha cheesecake! And I simply enjoyed some iced tea. They have tables on the sidewalk out in front, as well as tables on their patio in back. It was a somewhat busy Saturday night, so we opted for the patio as it was much quieter. Such a pleasant place to simply sit and talk for an hour!

We were asked to seat ourselves upon arrival but waited for 10 minutes without service before I got up and got my own menus. Once our orders were taken it took over 20 minutes to get our omelets during which time our iced tea glasses were empty and not refilled. The food was good when we did finally receive it and the restaurant is very cute. Hopefully our poor service was an isolated incident.

Fantastic. Great people, food, drinks and atmosphere. A variety of options for food, and willing to work with their customers to meet your needs. With my dietary needs, theyve been more than willing to work with me, and have recently expanded their menu to include gluten free bread and other options. One of my favorite places around!

Been coming here since I was in high school. One of the places I think of fondly and look to visit whenever Im in town. Service has changed a bit; its improved, but it also seems a little...too city, for a comfortable suburban spot like this. Still, Ill be coming back.

Wish it was better :( I recently moved to Downtown Norcross and was excited about the nieghborhood coffee shop, but we tried a cup of coffee and the beignets and were very disappointed, also a the coffee drinks are a bit over priced.

Became my most favorite place since I moved to Norcross in January. Pleasant atmosphere, smiling faces and good service. Food is always good, but lately the breakfast menu is getting weeker for my taste I missed the eggs benedict.

The people are friendly, positive, knowledgeable, and efficient. The coffee and food are great and quite reasonable too. They even have water and treats outside for passer-byes with animals. So, whats not to like?

Brunch at the Café :: sandwich & curly fries for The Boy, peanut butter french toast with iced coffee for me. This breakfast is delightful; almost as good as Grandmommy Hazel used to make. Happy girl is happy! ^_^

Sadly; incredibly disappointing. This could be an amazing brunch spot; unfortunately it isnt. Honestly, Just a few adjustmdments and just a little more effort and there would be people waiting to get in on the weekends.

Had a couple coffees and a pastry to-go, so my review will be a bit limited. All the items were pretty good and served quickly. The cafe had a warm vibe to it. Id definitely give it a try for a light lunch.

Eh...Food doesnt taste as good as it used to and the new servers are not as nice or good as the old servers. Its extremely disappointing because my friends and I have been coming close to a decade!

45 South is a warm and welcoming bar/ cafe tucked away in Norcross. I only had the daily coffee (which exceeds expectations) but wanted to give kudos for the friendly staff and cozy interior.

Live music most weekends and the breakfast options are always delicious. The coffee is magnificent! Truly a café in every sense of the word. Bring your laptop and work at this is a hidden gem.
