You face a dilemma going here: The food is delicious, but expect to be there for hours because of the extremely slow service, no matter how busy or not busy they are. This is not a place to take toddlers or people who dont want to sit it a cramped space for longer than an hour and a half. Ive been there twice. The first time, the food was hot and delicious but from the time we walked in until the time we got our food was about 50 minutes, and the time from eating until receiving the check and paying for the food was about another 50 minutes. It was not busy that night, but the service was extremely slow. They are very friendly, but couldnt possibly move any slower. The second time we went there, they were very busy and we got a little table in the cramped back room next to the kitchen. The service was just as slow, but the food was hot and delicious. We were cramped in the back room though, with people coughing and low-hanging lights, so I had to be careful standing up and I was concerned I might catch something. Heres the bottom line: Painfully slow service and very cramped spaces, but the food comes out hot and delicious. The food easily tastes better than all the competition in the area, whose food tastes like it was microwaved. I just wont be going back because I cant sit in a restaurant for two hours with my three year old, but if you have tons of time on your hands and dont care, the food is great.

I have eaten at this restaurant ever since it opened in the 90s and the food has always been excellent but tonight I was disappointed when my friend and I went there to grab a bite to eat. While talking to my friend upon arriving, he asked me to taste the salsa and tell him if i thought maybe it had gone bad. I tried it and it had an acidic taste to it like it had gone bad or was about to spoil. When our food arrived my taco salad was fine but again, my friend asked me to try a piece of the steak from his fajita nachos supreme and tell him if it tasted spoiled. I had to admit that it had an unusual taste and texture...it did not have the tender taste of grilled steak but rather it was almost like eating old steak that was mush when I chewed it...like it was old meat starting to break down...and it had no "flavor" to it at all...only the sauce in the dish had flavor. I was vey nice about it and even spoke in spanish to the waiter and manger so other customers would not hear. like i said, i like this restaurant and the nice friendly workers. much to my surprise when i told the waiter about the salsa he said they would look into it but made no offer to bring fresh salsa to replace what we had. When I told the waiter/manager about teh taste of the steak in my friend s meal, he did not seem to care and replied: we only use fresh meat here...no apologies were offered. Sadly, my friend and I will not be back:(

Weve been going here for 10 years or more. Went a month ago, and it was clear that they have changed food vendors as well as cooks. Suddenly, The ground beef had no flavor, the queso dip was cold and chunky and tasted like mozzarella, the chipa were different and thicker, even the refried beans tasted completely different and had no flavor. The enchiladas and tacos just werent the same, went from good to blah I love the service and people but this was a disappointing experience. I hope they change things back, but in the meantime Im going to be shopping around newnan for a new favorite mexican place to eat.

Asked for no tomatoes on my meal due to a food allergy and what happens they bring my meal out with tomatoes sauce all on it. Server blames the customer for not being more clearer when asking for no tomatoes. I said no tomatoes upon making my order how much clearer can I get. Couldnt get refills on drinks, and no Verde sauce is available really...This place has seen the last of me cant even treat the customer with respect. Watch out if you special order be prepared to stand your ground as you will be the blame for your food being made wrong. Very displeased with entire visit.....

First timer. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and good service. Food taste great (fajitas) and salsa was just the right spiciness. Based on some of the previous reviews given in regards to the timeliness of your food hitting the table I decided to time it with a stop watch. My fajitas hit my table in 5min36sec. It was not overly busy in the restaurant (Sunday 7:45pm). So in essence it was a good experience for the first time eating at this restaurant and I will come again. So, pleasant atmosphere, good food, good prices, friendly staff and fast service.

Pros: Food tasted very good. Portion size was great. Dining area had room. Cons: You have to pay for a refill of chips and salsa. The wait was kinda long. Service was bad. Some tables got more attention than others. My order was incorrect. My sisters order was incorrect. My friend asked for items; never arrived. She had to ask AGAIN. The waiter never took the time to listen to what we needed. I will NOT be returning to this establishment due to the shoddy service.

The Burrito Grande was excellent with plenty of chicken and beef(also comes with shrimp but I got extra steak instead). The other four members of my party had the Pollo Blanco and the were very pleased with it. My sister said they should serve it in a burrito. Service was good and it was reasonably priced. I will definitely go back when Im in Newnan again.

Sat outside on the patio which I was unaware of. My boyfriend had a burrito (I think the grande) and loved it. I ordered cheese enchiladas but they did not have any salsa verde sauce so I change my order to the garlic shrimp. Food was good, hot and fast. Closet to authentic mexican restaurant in town.

This is my wife and my favorite restaurant in Newnan. We go at least once week. The staff is awesome and the food is tremendous. It is the best tasting Mexican food I have ever eaten. Ask for Jesus, Carmen, Santiago or Luis. They will take care of you and you wont want to go any place else.

Absolute best Mexican food in Newnan. Prices are great, food is great, customer service is great. This is THE ONLY Mexican food we eat. They do carry alot of authentic stuff as well versus La Parillas Americanized menu. Stop by you wont regret it

Been here a couple of times and I will have to say Im a very picky person when it comes to Mexican food there is only one other restaurant in ga that serves Mexican the way I like it and this place is just as good love the friendly service as well

Ive been going here for years. Best Mexican food in Newnan. Food is good, inexpensive, and you get generous portions. I usually order to go, but when we do eat in service is good. Recommend above all other Mexican restaurants in the area.
