Traveling back to Michigan with my family and on my birthday, we pulled off I-75 and looked around for a place to eat, and just happened upon El Ranchero. We all loved it. Great food, especially the Pollo Fundido, and great service. Ask for fresh cilantro with your dish. Dont be fooled by the modest building; this family-operated restaurant has few peers, and none for the price.

The place is short on decor, but long on taste, and great value for the money; best enchiladas, combo fajitas, chile colorado, and a fabulous spicy pork dish give you many quality choices. Even desserts are worth the time - provided you still have room left after the hefty main courses. If you like Mexican, this is the place, at least in the Marietta area.

so disgusting. i have no idea how this place has more than 2 stars. my food was a complete joke. i thought they had actually brought out the wrong meal, but nope. that was their version of it. it was almost inedible. i honestly took a couple bites of everything before biting into a massively long hair. dinner over. we will never ever go back again!

Service is horrid! Our waitress actually left midway through our meal. Needless to say we had to fight for refills and even the check. We should have just aborted! The food was not good. Wasnt inedible but definitely worse then the competition. Cant say Id recommend this place unless you just dont care about quality food and service.

Ive been coming here for 25 years or so. My parents used to take me here all the time when I was a kid. I wont say its outstanding and its certainly not authentic but I love this place. Out of all the "Americanized" Mexican restaurants Ive been to this one is my absolute favorite. The food is consistently good and the prices are low.

The service is fast and food is good. The building does leave a bit to be desired (old and rundown), but it was clean. The chips were fresh, but the salsa could use more jalapenos and cilantro, in my opinion. The location is near KSUs Marietta campus, so it is convenient for those of us who need a quick Mexican food fix before class.

Much better and authentic than anything Ive found so far since moving to Georgia. Staff wasnt super friendly, but the food was excellent, they had actual hot salsas, and great margaritas. This isnt far from my house either, so I plan on becoming a regular. So glad I stopped in for some excellent Mexican food!

Started going to this place in the mid 80s. Always has been great food and margaritas arent bad either. Yes its in an old building but that just adds to the experience. If an older building disqualified a restaurant 9/10 of the great ones in New Orleans and most other places would be closed.

This place is a favorite for my wife and me. We love the carne asada tacos. The prices are good, the portions are large, and the staff are very friendly. We originally tried it because it is so close to Life University, but weve quickly adopted it into one of our regular eat-out spots.

I love the food here. My bf is Mexican, and he says their food is about as close to his familys as you can get! The waitress is very sweet, and always treats us like friends. The prices are fantastic. This place is awesome. I only wish they delivered!
