Went there last night. Smelled like mildew as soon as we got in the door. No one was at the hostess stand, and we waited about 5 minutes before someone came up to us. We were seated in a booth by the entrance that felt worn out. We ordered our drinks and asked for water as well. Drinks came, but no water. Waited forever to order our meals. Meanwhile, table behind us sent their food back for coming out cold. After about 45 minutes, were told our food is 4 tickets back, and that they had gotten slammed when we walked in. The restaurant was less than 1/4 full...not slammed in the least. While we waited, other people came in and were waiting to be seated, without even a hello from staff. One couple waited 20 minutes to be seated when there were empty seats everywhere. Our food arrived after an hour, and we asked for hot sauce for our omelettes. Ten minutes later, the server brings our lukewarm pancakes, but no hot sauce. We never got our hot sauce. The server took 20% off our check. The servers were doing everything but cooking, with no support from a manager. In my 10 years in the restaurant industry, Ive never seen such a poorly run restaurant. IHOP corporate should take this location away from Mohammad Ifkthar, the operator of this store.

As I made my approach through the double doors of the local house of pancakes, I couldnt help to notice the surface of the whole floor reminded me of the Sunday morning dew. Im not exaggerating when I tell you that I slid to my seat. I was happily greeted by our server... and also the hitchhikers that were both on my silverware and coffee cup. I took a cautious trip to the restroom and happend to notice the restrooms were...a change of scenery. Im almost convinced that the kids dont eat free on Mondays 4pm-6pm. Instead, i think they charge them labor to redo the looks of the restroom (somewhat irrelevant to the review). As our food arrived, the chicken of my chicken fajita omelet had made friends with the stove way too long. My nephew had more of an explict detail on how the sausage links taste. I would not normally leave reviews but seeing that this particular ihop has been around 3 quarters of my life, I just hate to see it go down hill. The redemption of my second star belongs to our server (really wish I got his name). He took great care of us despite the remainder of my experience.

Ashley and Adrianna (the two cooks) are very rude not only to the servers but my wife and I witnessed them laughing ans mocking the manager Jordan. Complete shock. We even observed them cussing and threatening to walk out with obscene language thrown in. Micheal our server who they also disrespected and yelled at handled it better than I could have. The two cooks were very loud during all of this. Our table was not even 14 feet away so we not only heard all of the chaos, but so did everyone else in the restaurant. Jordan apologized several times for the cooks rude and disrespectful behavior and our server apologized several times too even though there was no wrong doing on their part. As long as these two little girls work here, I will no longer visit this location.

We have been to this IHOP several times so this is not based on one bad experience. First off, when you walk in the door, the first thing that hits you is the smell....like an old musty dishrag. Obvious that the tables are wiped down with a rag that has not been cleaned. That in itself takes away my appetite, Second thing is the wait to be noticed, much less seated. Staff is at times overly friendly - wanting to talk, ask questions about our tattoos, etc. That may be ok for some people but I prefer to come in, eat and leave..I am not a chatty person. Food tastes ok but is a bit overpriced. Really hoping the people see this and do something about the smell...in the event we go back one day.

Wanted coffee but upon arriving I saw that the coffee pot was dirty so I ordered orange juice and water instead. My water glass stayed empty almost the entire time I was there. When my chicken and waffles arrived, my chicken had a smushed mosquito on it and my waffles were cold. The butter had just come out of the fridge so it was hard and would not melt on the cold waffles. I should have gotten up and left at this point but I was so hungry I just blew the bug off of my chicken and ate it. After eating when I was ready to go, I told the waitress I was ready, and she said okay, but it took her another 10 minutes to come back and get my payment. Not my best I Hop Experience

Servers are nice, but kitchen stays so busy things sometimes get too hectic, so service suffers. Place needs a major overhaul, stinks of old mops and mildew. Most importantly for owners and cooks: No one, and I mean NO ONE, likes runny grits. For Gods sake youre in Georgia, learn to make grits! Update June 4, 2016. We went back to eat there and things have gotten better. Staff was efficient and friendly, service was EXTREMELY prompt even though they were busy, and food was very good. Dunno if they changed management or staff but looks like theyre getting better. Upgraded to 4 stars and will update again on next visit.

If there was anyway to give it 0 stars, I would have. I visited this location yesterday and immediately after entering, I notice a moldy/sour smell (if you can imagine such). The waitress showed me to a table for 8, although I had come by myself and the whole time the aroma got stronger. Considering the fact the entire floor was wet and sticky, my assumption was that the mop heads were to blame. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love IHOP but this would mark the first time that Id walk out of a restaurant because of its aweful smell and appearance. I will never visit this location again.

I was enjoying a meal at IHOP and a solicitor from Americas Best was going around giving Flyers at everybodys table. She gave a minute speech to everybody about specials and how we can save on glasses. I think it is unacceptable to allow solicitors into a business when you are trying to enjoy a meal. I let the manager know and got an apology. If this is going to be a new thing for IHOP I will not be going back. To me this is like allowing a solicitor to come into your house and give you a speech or sales presentation while you are eating a meal. Poor form IHOP.

Staff and manager argue in front of customers . I called in a to go order and when I got there 2 of the items I ordered were not on the menu anymore yet she took the order anyway. Had to wait 1 hour for the order. The manager who is not their normal manager her name is Jordan was very disrespectful to the staff then she began arguing with the staff in front of customers....it was very awkward. Ill never come here again. It is unacceptable for a manager to treat the staff bad. Ill go 25 miles to the next ihop

It was my 1st visit to this IHOP because my husband I just moved to Hiram. I called to place a "To Go" order & the girl that took my order said it would be about 5mins before my food would be ready. We arrived 7-10mins later and the cashier approached me as soon as she saw me walk in. She cashed me out, gave me my food and sent me on my way. The food was very good. The pancakes were very fluffy! Best pancakes Ive had from IHOP in a very, very long time!!
