This place will make you think differently. Completely average nothing special food that anyone could cook. Very limited menu and not a lot of choices if you dont want your dinner deep fried. The food is absolutely 100% over-priced because they are definitely capitalizing on tourists and the sheer lack of better restaurant options in the area. Make sure you ask for prices on their specials. They have a "special" thats over twice the cost of their highest priced menu item and they didnt even cook it right the first time. Skip this place. Go to McDonalds if youre trying to find an option other than resort food.

I have gone to this restaurant/bar and enjoyed every experience, owner is amazing, bar staff impeccable, and the servers are wonderful! The portions are huge for a very reasonable price point! I would recommend this place which has a line at the door at opening, 5 oclock by the way, to all of my great friends! Go early and get your favorite table, perhaps by the fireplace, and enjoy their amazing specials and specialty drinks! They have no sign in front either and they certainly dont need one!

Dont listen to the bad review from years ago...this place is GREAT! Weve been coming here since 2006 and still keep coming back. It stays packed with people for a reason and even then the wait time isnt that bad. Shrimp & Oyster bar, regular bar, great seafood & even an outside sitting area. You can throw a rock to hit Lake Oconee so no sign is needed anyway. My husband even asked me to marry him there while eating in the sunroom! Good times keep on keeping on there...<3

We loved the fresh oysters and shrimp. The wine list was impressive and priced right. We are from San Francisco and were delighted with the funky atmosphere. The owners were so fun to talk with. Highly recommend it. The place was booming and they dont even have a sign. Its where the locals go and its a gem!

Great food and atmosphere but wait time is almost always unnecessarily miserable. Even if you get there at 5pm they seat people so unbelievably slowly. I would much rather sit and wait a long time for a waiter than have to stand in the super crowded and heavily travelled wait area especially with kids!!

Will not return to this restraunt. Prime rib very tough. Including us we heard two other people tell owner prime rib was tough. Owner just shrugged her sholders and walked off. No allowance was made on check for the over priced ($22.) tough prime rib. The service was bad. April 2016.

When a restaurant does not have a sign to market itself and there is still an hour wait, you know something is good going on inside. the rib eye here is one of the best on the planet, if you are ever near sinclair or oconee, do yourself a favor an try this place, just get there early.

Drove about an hour to try this place out, called to make a reservation and was told they do not take reservations but they were not busy at all. Arrived 10 mins later to the parking lot completely full and a wait!! There is no possible way they were not busy when I called!

This is where the locals go. Good good with a rustic atmosphere. Tell Ginger and Greg, Lin and and kim sent ya! The local realtors! Love the fish, meat loaf , crab dip, martinis and music on Monday nights. Shrimp and Oxysters on Friday and Saturday night❤️

My brother took my wife and I here for supper. We all had the "fish and chips." We all loved the food (grouper) and the service. There may be a wait, because the place is usually crowded. We cant wait to go back. Waiting on next pay check.

Its the best restaurant hands down around Lake Oconee. The chili is an item you might look past but dont. Everything is great on the menu and they have great taste in wines. Just wish they would always be open for lunch.

Always consistently great food! Homemade desserts are wonderful-especially the chocolate bread pudding. Fun, informal, friendly atmosphere. The wait can be long at times-but it is worth the wait.
