They always have good food. My hubby and I come here often and tend to sit at the bar. Our past two visits have been OK being that they seem to take forever to greet you, and everything else such as making drinks and cleaning tables, seems to be more important than at least saying "hello Ill be right with you." Weve had Carlos as our server twice and once he gets to you, hes very nice and is a decent server. Well this last time( Sunday, 3/19/17 ) we were at the bar almost 15 whole minutes before I asked one of the bussers for water. They werent busy, there were no tables behind us and only two others at the bar so I dont understand the slow poking. Shortly after, the manager came over and said oh you havent been greeted yet we say no. She gets us water and offers us a cheese dip for waiting, I dont care for the queso but my husband does and accepted. Manager was very sweet and on top of everything. We enjoyed our food and everything was great, until the bill came. We asked why we were charged for the cheese when she offered it to us for waiting and they say well cheese is never free at a Mexican restaurant. Not only do I know that but I didnt appreciate the smart aleky tone. Sure its not and Im not a dumbass no appetizer is free but being that we waited so long for service and the MANAGER ASKING if we would like some for waiting, we didnt feel it should have been charged. Long story short we didnt make a big fuss about it and paid our bill. We fine dine quite often so believe me when I say the bill total was no issue, we like cheap food every now and then. Its the principle that we were offered it FOR WAITING, not asked "hey would you like an appetizer"....I was a server for several years as well as a bartender and currently a caterer, I know great service and I dont feel this past experience that I received it. Any other place would have just corrected the error but they didnt want to talk to a manager nor just say ok we apologize. I never go looking for free anything but when youre wrong youre wrong and you shouldnt have apologized to us for waiting so long and offering us some cheese for it if you were just going to charge it. Had I known I wouldve chose an appetizer I actually like. Needless to say, we will be very cautious the next time we are here because it seems they dont care if theyre in the wrong or not or whether they give good service.

This was my favorite Mexican restaurant in D-ville. The food and drinks were great up until today! We attempted to sit outside. When the server opened the umbrella there were several cockroaches on it. When I panicked, he removed the umbrella and laid it to the side. Another non-server opened another umbrella with bugs and shook it out for us while the server watched. I dont know, maybe he doesnt do critters either. Finally, we sat. As we were beginning to settle in another critter ran out and almost went up someones leg. At that point we were finished with eating outside. The waiter seemed bothered that we wanted to go inside. When we got inside, I ordered the super nacho with chicken only. They brought me the super nacho with beef and chicken. When I told the waiter he said "what you dont like beef?" I dont know why he asked me that as if it mattered. We had gnats in our drinks from being outside. We were deterred from asking for a new drink due to the treatment wed received so far. I found a big leaf in my lettuce. They said it was apart of their seasoning. They then spoke about it in Spanish and laughed it off. I could have been allergic, if thats what it even was. The waiter asked the table next us if they needed anything multiple times. He avoided us. We had to summon him instead. Mexican food is my favorite food. I eat it quite often. The waiters probably know us by face Agave. That being said, they have permanently lost my business, and I will never eat there again. Its sad that one experience can ruin your favorite place to eat in a single outting.

Worst service ever. Will never return to this restaurant again. My family and I finally got seated the waitress comes over and asked for our drinks we told her we already had our drinks and her response was did you already pay for those? We ordered our food and when they brought the two orders of fajitas we sat there for 15 mins with no tortillas and our nieces tacos that were supposed to be meat and cheese only were loaded with lettuce ect. Finally we asked for the tortillas and a manager. The manager comes and his response to the complaint was Im sorry this is the my busiest night. Manager was very arrogant and only cared about making his money. Didnt show any remorse on the poor customer service that his staff was providing. I am a general manager of multi billion dollar company and let me tell you customer service is number one. If you dont have the staff to service your customers then dont seat them. Thank you for showing me where not to bring my service again.

Well for starters the chips were a mixture of too greasy, and not fully cooked. We order two appetizers, a cheese dip, and a chunky guacamole. The cheese dip was not hot enough, and the guac was not prepared freshly like other restaurants do. It must have been pre prepared and set in the fridge. Also, my husbands fajitas came with more chorizo then chicken and steak, there wasnt that much chicken and steak on his plate at all and my husband could tell that they microwaved thee tortillas, just pure laziness. The taste of the food was simply not good. We ordered our food and mine was out 10 minutes before my husbands. Not truly satisfied with my experience, and food. We are never going back there, next time Ill make the drive out to Carrollton to eat at La Finca because thats a great Mexican restaurant that never disappoints me.

I have eaten here for over 5 years, last night we ate on the patio out back, the kitchen did not make my wifes order properly. The waiter said they would remake it. After about 20 minutes and we were almost finished eating I went inside asked the manager what happened and requested they place her order in a to go box. When the waiter brought it out along with two additional boxes for our other food, he gave us our bill, I requested the manager make an adjustment for the food error, she gave us 10% off or $1.30. When the waiter brought the bill back he laughed at us. Upon leaving he was holding the door for us and laughed at us again. This is the worst customer service ever. We will not return as there are 5 other Mexican restaurants on Highway 5 between our house and Interstate 20. DONT go here.

My man and I are admittedly "health nuts" so going out to eat is a rare treat for us. This place was recommended to us so we had high hopes for some good food & drinks while going out to celebrate. The food wasnt the issue. We honestly felt like an after thought to our waiter. The place really wasnt that busy (Monday around 7pm) yet we had to ask for every little thing we had ordered twice. By time all of the food got to the table most of it was cold. We spoke to the manager who didnt seem concerned at all and acted as if our story didnt add up. We are extremely easy going people and I have never had to speak to a manger over a meal or even thought to leave a bad review for a local business. We will not be going back nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone unless you like begging for your meal.
