I AM JAMAICAN BORN AND RAISED and NEVER have I felt this way before and Im a Certified Chef from Le Cordon Bleu. My experience here was HORRIBLE. My first time here I thought it would be good because the line was a decent length, so of course we had to be patient. I ordered my food and when I received it, I asked for a little more gravy for my rice. I told the Cashier and I patiently waited 8 minutes for gravy before I had to raise an issue how I just needed some gravy on my rice. She told me I should of asked for it initially, but I forgot and its my first time there. They gave me a wing tip NO WING and the amount of gravy I got at the end was a soup in my plate.

So I will never suggest this place to anyone again. I dont eat pork, but my bf does and he most of the time likes the jerk chicken (sometimes its old, but he has a steel stomach and will eat almost anything when hungry enough), so last night I got a jerk pork for his dinner - its a good thing I got myself food because he would have had nothing to eat. The pork was STALE AND HARD AS ROCKS. I didnt want MY dog to get sick, so I couldnt give it to her either. The plantain his plate came with was equally STALE AND HARD....like, how do you serve obviously old and stale food???? I dont do many reviews, but this was too ridiculous.

Came to this restaurant to support small business, order my food the young lady looked at me. Did not even offer me utensils. Why did I make the mistake and ask for napkins. She turn to me and asked are eating here? I told her yes. Then she said she can only give one napkin. Just to let you know my food swimming in gravy. I had to improvised, cut the napkin in 4, wait to the end to wipe my mouth. Could not even use my fingers to enjoy the damn oxtail. The people are mean as hell. No customer service here. Food was not even good.

Been here twice. 1st time, I had the Jerk Chicken, which is awesome. My 2nd visit was this week. Cashier looked at me when I first walked in, didnt acknowledge me at all, then she walked back to the kitchen. While in the kitchen, she glanced up at me a few times through the window opening (while fixing a plate) and still didnt say hello, welcome, Ill be with you in a second, nothing. I ended up ordering Oxtails - there was no flavor, the meat was extremely bland. Customer service definitely need some improvement.

The worst customer service. Im Jamaican so I already know how my people are, but this lady wouldnt even pack up my food. She asked me if I wanted to see it, I said yes. Usually they open it for you, let you see it and then pack up your food. She just puts it in my face and says you can pack it up yourself. Who does that?! No one who wants to keep a business open. If you dont want to serve your customers the close your business.

The cashier is beyond rude and has a attitude! No matter what time of day she always acts like its killing her to serve You. I advise you to go on Sundays the older man and woman thats there on Sundays are nice and his cooking tastes way better than whoever cooks during the week. Mon-Fri dont go!

Just left this place; 3.15.16. Food was bland and customer service is lacking. The only good thing I can say is its open a little later than any Jamaican restaurant near me and the portions were good size. We wont visit again and I wouldnt recommend it.

Nasty food and even worse service! The owner is rude and refused to switch my food because "I dont like her cooking". Dont waste your time in this whole in the wall, theres a better place on memorial dr. I wont be back!!

I hadnt been in a while and was in the area so i stopped in. I now remember why, the cashier has HORRIBLE attitude. This was my last time. I dont care how good your food is if your service is bad you wont get my coins.

Stood in line for nearly 15 mins to get my order taken (only one person in front of me), jerk chicken was good, their "boston market brand juice" is overpriced koolaid. It was an ok experience, cant say Ill be back.

First time here, I got here right before closing and they accommodate me with no problem, had the oxtail, rice & peas n plantains..no complains here, TY Mr. Palmer..definitely visit again during business hrs

GOOD food but when I asked for ribs she gave me chicken and wouldnt exchange for the ribs even when I told her I would pay the difference,I was told no she told me I had to buy another dinner ,bad service

Excellent food always and excellent customer service LEAST of the time. I would recommend an attitude adjustment when serving customers however I would still refer others to visit this place for dining.
