Wow, where do I start. It is Friday night, so we knew a table for 8 would have a wait. We only waited 20 minutes & a waiter was kind enough to bring us all ice water while we were in the lobby. They must have been short on staff because after being seated it took about 15 min. before we placed a drink order. We then waited a full 30 minutes to order food. We waited about 35 minutes before we finally asked our waiter about the food, and then we waited some more. We had been at Palapas well over an hour and a half before getting served. Then, guess what? My tacos were cold. After a few glasses of water with chips & salsa, I wasnt hungry anyway. I do want to say the staff is extremely kind and friendly. However, it seems like the manager could have offered to take a drink or two off the bill. He never offered anything to make up for the hassle of going to their restaurant.

I can not understand how this place stays open. The service is horrible. The drinks are horrible - are the margaritas a country time lemonade mix???. The only thing I can see a plus is convenience. Even that will not bring me back. I have been 3 or 4 times and its awful! Get management that knows what its doing!

Got food to go for Fathers Day. Truly delicious. The mango guacamole was the highlight; amazing - super fresh. Big burrito, enchiladas (4 different ones in one dish!), and Texas fajitas were all excellent. Only sad that the churros we ordered for dessert didnt make it into our order. We will be back.

The food here is normally okay. However, today, something was wrong with my shrimp. It smelled spoiled. My son, however, had the TX fajitas and his shrimp were OK. The bartender was our server and really nice. There was a young kid sitting with his dad at the bar. That was just weird to me.

This place is the best Mexican restaurant in the area! The food is great. Havent had a single bad thing from their menu but need to try the veggie chimichanga and add the two spicy sauces to it. I order that every time I go now. Also ask Lalo--he is absolutely the best waiter there!!!

Pros: Decent prices for tasty food. Great lunch specials. Really great table salsa. Excellent, prompt service. Cons: Chips and sopapillas were not fresh. Summary: Honestly, this place isnt far from perfect, and the price was certainly right. Definitely a good choice.

Had a simple meal, grilled chicken, rice & beans. All were tasty. Margaritas need some help as the limes they used were bitter / sour. Should be tart but not bitter. Think Ill switch to beer next time. Good live music on certain nights.

Been twice in 2 days and had a great experience. Great service and food. Had steak and shrimp fajitas with sweet tea for lunch for under $10, I will definitely be going back.
