I approached the counter and was promptly seated by the kind young lady at the stand. Taking my seat, I was greeted with a colorful menu and a list of beers and wine. The menu deserves special mention for its detailed graphics, showing you every presentation. I ordered General Tao Chicken, Fried Rice and Sauvignon Blanc. It arrived at my table in less than 10 minutes. The taste... Perfection. Not too crunchy, not too spicy. The fried rice was simply the best Ive tasted and Ive tried five star restaurants. The serving size is the most Ive ever seen for the dish. Though it does lack in addition of other vegetables (broccoli for example was not included). I was surprised to find they also serve an array of non alcoholic drinks including Cock n Bull Ginger Beer and Apple Cider. The food arrives hot and steamy in custom glass dishes lined with jade floral patterns. Its a great spot for small groups of 3-4 and the quiet environment is perfect for millennials or parents looking to wind back. Definitely a restaurant worth checking out.

They do not know the first thing in customer service. Our server was a Chinese lady with glasses. She did not ask how we were doing and gave us the vibe that we were more of a bother than customers. She seemed like she just wanted to rush us out of there by even forgetting the rest of our order. In the end she provided us little to np service at all. The bus boy had better customer service. When she got our check, she kept pressuring us to just follow the gratuity guide on the bottom, even saying "just choose one so you dont have to think too much". We left cash, but she didnt even say thank you and shot us a dirty glare. Never coming here. Food isnt worth the bad service. P.s I dont think they were even under staff to make up for the horrendous service we got. Our server stood around staring at us, while doing nothing. Later more workers came in but they were just standing around doing nothing.

Worst service I have ever experienced and the food wasnt great either ! It took forever just to get a glass of water. Once we ordered our food which was a simple chicken and vegetables, fried rice, and spring rolls it went even more downhill from there. The chicken and vegetables came but no rice and no spring rolls. We asked the lady where they were and she replied they would be out in a minute. ... -15 minutes later out comes our rice but know spring rolls....at the end of the meal comes the spring rolls! Everything tasted bland and even the water had a bad taste! How can water even taste bad?! Imagine water sitting in a super rusty tin and thats what is served to you. Completely disgusting ! It was at least 3 other people in the resteraunt that either got there food messed up, check messed up, or they had to service their own table. Stay far away !

Service was slow and unpersonable. Our waitress never introduced herself and barely engaged with us. This was not happening at the tables serviced by other employees. She never asked if our food was to our liking. I ordered the garlic chicken, I believe that was the name of the dish. It was good but wayyy to hot/spicy for me to enjoy. Had she not disappeared for the majority of our time there I would have expressed my intolerance for the spiciness. Due to our meter expiring we had to leave in a bit of a rush. So when she finally returned and we asked for our check, I told her about my food. She offered to have made again but we just didnt have the time. The dish my cousin had was quite good-chicken steak, though. I doubt Id return to this place unless I have a serious craving for Asian cuisine.

I love this location of the Tasty China franchise!! While the portions tend to be a little smaller for the same price as the other locations, the food quality is exactly the same Chinese Szechuan we have grown to love and expect from them. Its conveniently located in Ponce City Market, which is easier for us than making the drive out to the original in Marietta. Recommendations: anything dry-fried (especially the eggplant and the bamboo fish), the braised fish in red chili oil, the chicken with scallions, cumin lamb, ma po tofu, and the crispy beef. The sweet and sour chicken is a good non-spicy option and the bok choy with mushrooms is a great side. The few times Ive been for dinner already, weve been lucky to not have a wait, but Im sure the wait times will pick up soon.

The service is horrendously slow. Prepare to be ignored and when you get up in search of your elusive server that you havent seen in thirty minutes, glared at. The only thing more absurd than the service is the odd line that they make you wait in for a table and their refusal to take your name. Why go enjoy the rest of the market? Just stand here in the middle of the market hallway because they have no waiting area. Standing in a crowd of people waiting for a table while the "hostess" randomly brings people up and asks them how many people in their party (because she wont write down your name and group) is not worth the food anywhere. They need to re work their system and re train. And hire some people who want to be there.

Terrible service, racist staff. Do not go here. The hostess tried to get my boyfriend and I to share a menu claiming they were short on menus, then almost immediately gave the Caucasian couple behind us two menus. Then a different staff member gave us very small servings of rice that come with the meals. I thought that was just the normal serving until I saw the table in front of and behind us receive a significantly different amount. I thought it was the cook, but it is in fact the wait staff that scoops the servings of rice. I questioned a waitress about it and she said they usually dont give such small servings. They also tried to seat us out in the cold even though there were tables available inside.

Horrible service with horrible food. The seating area is very uncomfortable. The table should have only seated 3 max and they had 5 of us at the table. We were never offered a drink menu or drinks. Two of the entrées came out before the appetizers. We asked if that was correct and were told the food just comes out when it comes out in no particular order. We ordered lamb that we were sure was pork. My father is a chef and when we asked was told it was lamb. It wasnt. Some of our food was cold when it arrived. The pork belly was not pork belly it was pork loin. There are odd shelves along the walls that are filled with random junk and restaurant supplies. Avoid this restaurant at all cost.

Surprisingly, service was fast and attentive when I tried this place! Granted, my friend and I sat at the bar. The host and bartender were both very friendly and helpful, despite our showing up 15 minutes before closing. As for the food, it was really amazing! Having traveled to China myself, I think this interpretation of authentic cuisine is fairly close to what you might find there. Not entirely sure about the Cumin Chicken though, as I never encountered cumin during my travels through China, but it was still really, really tasty and worth trying! The green beans were also a hit with us.
