I like it usually, other customers are always polite. When the "snowpocalypse" garbage hit earlier this year it was a melee at Kroger and almost everything was snatched up with checkout lines across the store to the back of every shopping aisle - I gave up. I live on a very steep hill so wasnt planning on going out if it did ice up. Publix had everything very well stocked and all cashiers on hand so it was a lot less of a hassle then imagined even with every line backed up. My only qualm is I love going to grab popcorn chicken (requires a few min prep) or some deli meats but the staff at the hot food counter always seems unfriendly like its a burden to get something for you and a few of the ladies serving the deli meats are very abrupt and kind of demanding, my husband and I both felt uncomfortable during a few visits. Ive only encountered one female cashier who definitely had an attitude. The sweet girl bagging my groceries asked to walk me out even with just 3 small bags, I later imagined that she probably just wanted to get away from the grumpy cashier. Most of the staff is very friendly and even overly obliging. Sadly the only bad service experiences have only been with foreign employees that have very heavy accents and refuse to smile or even acknowldge when you say "Thank you, have a great day." It feels weird to say it might be a foreign thing and IDK what the deal is but still, I havent even experienced that kind of attitude in any foreign country Ive visited. Im always polite regardless, it just kind of throws you off guard with the vibe of the rest of the store.

Normally, I do not have any issues shopping here. However, today I got harassed by one of their hired cops going through self checkout. I mean, I literally bought cheese, a cheese grater and ice cream. I scanned everything without issue and its sitting in the bag waiting for me to swipe my card. I check my phone to check my bank account, so I can see which card to charge. A white male officer, in his 30s, pops right next to me and is watching me as I check out. The guy is within 3 feet and is staring me down. I say hello. He says hello back and continues staring me down. I have no idea what the hell I did to garner his attention but he doesnt leave me alone until I finish and leave the store. I just got off work. I go there all the time. I do not understand why this guy thinks it is ok to hassle people, nor do I understand why Publix management thinks it is ok to treat paying customers. Either way, I will most likely be skipping Publix and just go to Sprouts right down the road. They have better products, better prices, and I wont get stared down by overly aggressive cops in a time where they shouldnt be doing this. Sucks though because I work in the business complex just down the road from there.

Customer service at this store is just nuts. Its gotten so bad that I now go to Kroger, even though Publix is .5 miles from my house. I stopped in today to get a Publix wrap at the deli, there was one customer in line in front of me who got one sandwich. I literally waited 15 minutes while the staff stood around chatting with each other. The deli person asked if I wanted a combo and I said yes. When I went to check out at the deli cashier stand, it turns out I didnt have a combo label on my wrap, so the cashier (Thisa on her nametag) ran and got one, even though I asked her not to, I just wanted to skip the combo at that point because I didnt want to wait even longer. Kinda defeats the point of picking up a quick sandwich at the store. After waiting another five minutes, she came back with a new label for my wrap. I commented that it shouldnt take so long to get deli service. She just shrugged like she couldnt give a flip and said "okay." Literally, the worst Publix customer service ever at this store.

I have friends that have moved up north, and I dont know how they do it. GA Publixs are even better then FL because in FL you have to actually get 2 items to qualify for buy one get one free. (In case you didnt know, here in GA you can just get one item at half price instead of feeling like you have to buy 2 items.) I put a PUBLIX SUB up to any sub challenge.....they are so delish...another tip: get a footlong and share-its only a few bucks more for 2x the sub and you can separatly customize them any way you want....thanks Publix! Oh and thanks for having a Suntrust that is open late and on Sat!

On April 21 I needed a lamb shank bone for Passover Seder the next night. I go to the meat department and the butcher goes in back, gets what I need, wraps it up and gives it to me for no charge. Back in South Florida they sell the shank bones for $5, but not here. I dont live in this part of town, so this was my first time at this Publix, but like every Publix I have been to, the service is excellent. Shopping really is a Pleasure here.

this an average grocery store, with what i considered slightly above average prices. some random items are less expensive than some competitors but most of their fare is significantly more costly. the local beer options here were definitely not up to my standards. they do, however, sell single 12oz beers which i thought was odd, but maybe the liquor laws are different in cobb county?

Helpful, friendly staff and a wide assortment of all sorts of products makes this a very good Publix. Im not going 5 stars because if the seafood and the produce. Seafood never looks fresh. As for the produce, Id rather have smaller quantities a fresher items than a big bunch of tired stuff (today that included zucchini and cilantro. )

I love my local Publix. The employees are unfailingly cordial and helpful . The store is clean, safe and wellstaffed. I am not a coupon shopper, but often find buy one, get one offers on products that I use. I really appreciate the pharmacy staff who make extraordinary efforts to find coupons and discounts on prescriptions.

Although this place can be a mad house after work, its always clean, well stocked, and well lit. Its not difficult to find what I need, and the floor staff is eager to help if needed. I would give it 5 stars, but I really feel like the deli counter employees could speed it up a little. They always seem to be moving slowly.

Its a publix, you should already know what to expect. My only knock on this one is its a little small so the choices are limited and its laid out oddly. Frozens are in the middle, produce on the left, etc. If you are used to every other grocery store layout it can be hard to find things. People who work there are nice.

I bought a sub sandwich from the cold case this morning and along with my turkey and bacon were two long strands of blonde hairs. I called the deli and spoke to the manager and he insisted that they wear hair nets but could not explan why there was hair in my sub. Im so disgusted and will never shop at this deli again.
