Went here for lunch today and was able to sit outside thanks to the fantastic spring weather. Views of the Olympic Park and the new Ferris Wheel. The street itself was its own entertainment - the three way intersection consists of a one-way street meeting a two way street head on. Traffic going in one direction MUST turn, but the signage is terribly lacking. I saw cops chase one person down and witnessed two near accidents... I am first going to say that I need to come back to Park Bar and try it again - I have been sick for several days and my throat is still sore so all I could eat was half of the mandarin salad with chicken and ice water. The salad was tasty and a fair size for $10 but there wasnt a lot of chicken on it. My buddy ordered some kind of bison burger and it disappeared really quickly. He also ordered the onion rings which seemed fine but I feel like he missed an opportunity by not ordering the Cheesy Banana Boats. From the menu: Cheesy Banana Boats The savory, crispy crunch of the green plantain topped with the South’s finest pimento cheese and bacon. - $9.99 How can you NOT order the cheesy banana boats? Anyway - I liked my food but I was uncharacteristically conservative in my ordering due to the sore throat. Ill come back for sure. Service was pleasant if slightly inattentive (probably b/c we sat outside) but I wasnt bothered by the lack of attention as the two of us sat there chatting about life and work for over 2 hours.

I wish I could give less than one star because I definitely would! My husband and I needed to get change so we went in. Right after walking in we decided we would stay to eat and have some drinks while waiting on a concert to start. I asked the bartender for change and was told "I can only give change to customers" with an attitude. I told her we were staying to eat. The manager gave us change and we walked outside to give money to a friend. The manager came outside and told us the $100 bill we gave him was counterfeit because his counterfeit pen showed a black mark. First of all, either he was color blind or stupid because the mark was a dark yellow which means its fine. Second, I received the bill from a bank. It was a new $100 bill which is unable to counterfeit. He was completely unprofessional and at least I dont live anywhere near Atlanta to have to deal with him ever again. Since returning home I have been kicking myself for not making a bigger deal about it and telling him to call the cops if he wanted. That way he wouldve looked like an idiot when they told him the bill was valid. And I didnt have to give him the change back anyway. The transaction was complete. He shouldve checked it before he gave me the change. I was just so caught off guard I didnt react like I shouldve.

Came to this bar to celebrate with my friend for her birthday! Our first entrance into the door was okay, but a little uncomfortable! Our food and drinks were not good and we tried letting the waitress know! I said "tried" because she intentionally kept ignoring us! Waitress was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Very rude and dismissive!! Tried to speak to the manager, who was also rude! Its obvious that we werent welcome here and I would NEVER recommend this place or go back!!!

Its a nice bar but can get busy. The staff are mostly attentive and friendly and offered drinks and menus quickly. The food quality is good and there is plenty to choose from. I do have a big issue with automatically adding service charge on to my bill. Its happened every time I came to the park bar whether or not its a couple of people have a large group. What I tip reflects the service I received not what they expect. Not a bad bar would go back.

Small quaint bar with a pretty good food selection & even better drinks. Perfect for a day in the historic Centennial Olympic Park area in downtown Atlanta. Park Bar is nestled right across from the park & only feet away from the Ferris wheel. With reasonable prices a never wait on a table type of place, great for a few beers with the buds or a quite date night w/ the significant other you cant go wrong w/ Park Bar

Awesome location for some pre-game/concert libations and lite fare. This is my go to spot before going to Philips or Centennial Park for an event. The tap been selection always has something interesting and the food is always solid. A standout for me recently was the Pilgrim Burger in honor of Thanksgiving. Stuffing and cranberry sauce on a burger .... what ? But it so completely works and was amazing.

I pass this bar nearly everyday but never set foot inside until 2/13/14, after a bout of cabin fever. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The place as packed with fans going to a soccer game at the Dome I loved the brick walls. Great craft beer selection. Awesome wings. We spent more than $40 so we got to spin a wheel. My friends and I got free Jaeger bombs! This will be new spot.

Came in from out of town and sat at the bar and had Tiffany as or bartender. Our food was great! We ordered a bison burger and a centennial chopped salad with sides of asparagus and onion rings. All of it was spot on. Then since we spent $45 we got a chance to spin the wheel and ended up getting $20 off our tab! Overall experience was terrific. Definitely would stop here again.

Great food, but they shouldnt call themselves a bourbon bar as they were out of 50% of the Bourbons, which included all the top ones. As for a restaurant, it was loud, crowded, despite there being a second one level as they didnt open it. The waitress was very good but the people sitting at the same table as us, for lack of choice, were so loud, I couldnt wait to leave.

Horrible service. My girlfriend and I sat there for over 20 minutes with no one asking if we wanted to order any food. Then when I tried to gain the bartenders attention I was again ignored then rudely handed menus and she just walked away without letting me place my drink order. We ended up just leaving. Will not be going there again!!

I was in here for lunch on a weekday. It wasnt very busy, but the bar staff was polite and attentive without being overbearing. My burger was really good, but they cook them all to the same doneness (medium) without asking what you want. The beer selection was good and my cocktail was well made. Its also just a chill place to hang out.

Not the best bar food in town, nor the best drinks either. But if you are downtown by the park and need some pick me up, then park bar should be on your maybe list. Obviously, downtown needs more options and hopefully that will begin to emerge sooner than later. Anyway, friends like this joint so I am sure to return!

Great place to grab a beer and watch sports near Centennial Olympic Park. Known for their burgers. Fantastic upstairs area for private events. Walking distance from Phillips Arena, CNN, Coke Museum and Aquarium. Spend enough money and you get to spin the wheel at the bar for chance to get $20 bucks off your tab.
