You better love pink when you get there. Great looking and tasting cupcakes here! Came here on opening day with the bf since it was giving out a free cupcake (any kind!). The sisters that own the franchise were there too and people were taking pics with them. My bf and I got 3 cupcakes: peanut butter chocolate chip twist, cookies n creme, and mocha chocolate chip cheesecake. These cupcakes really pack a lot, so we were only able to eat 2 cupcakes, the p&b twist and cookies n creme one. We preferred the cookies n creme one over the p&b twist since the cookies n creme was more balanced in flavor. but if you love p&b and chocolate chip cookies like my bf does, you will like their p&b twist too. We stored our 3rd cupcake (mocha chzcake) in the fridge to eat the next day since we were told the chzcake ones need to be kept chilled, but their other cupcakes can normally be kept at room temperature or in the freezer. On their website, it recommends this storing procedure: "We recommend that you store your cupcakes at room temperature. If you will be consuming the cupcakes more than 24 hours after purchasing them, you can freeze them and they are good for up to 10 days after they are purchased. To thaw them, leave them at room temperature for 2-3 hours before they are to be served." Each cupcake regularly costs $3 and its $16.50 for a half-dozen so that would be a better deal. Also check out their twitter site @GTownCupcake since they give out a flavor name that you can tell the cashier to get a free cupcake thats not on the menu, but its limited to the first 100. Edit: I tried the mocha cheesecake cupcake 8 hours later (7hrs in the fridge, 1 hr at room temp) and god damn thats a whole cheesecake cake pretending to be a cupcake! It is quite rich but not too sweet, and the oreo cookie crust tastes like dark chocolate, yums! The chocolate-covered espresso bean is cute and a delight to eat. I love mocha, chocolate, and coffee and this cupcake combines all these flavors harmoniously in this cupcake. Its my fave cupcake there so far.

I love this place. I only give them a 4 star because of their prices. $20 for 6 is pricey. Almost easier to just go to Krispy Kreme and get a dozen of something. (Summer 2015) Today was the first time I experienced the poor customer service that everyone seems to be experiencing. There was one customer and myself there, then another guy walked in, I was completely overlooked and I found it very odd when there were 2 people in the store. The guy was greeted with a smile and all. Then she girl made her way to the next customer who was a little rough looking, and she did not get a smile or anything that the other guy received. She was judged by the way she looked. It took everything for me not to address the manager in the establishment. The owner needs to address this immediately before this gets out of control. Dont buy into the hype. First, there are plenty of places where you can find cupcakes that are as good or even better FOR A LOT LESS MONEY! Second, and more importantly, this place is THE WORST customer service. Two bad experiences are more than enough. The first time order was for my wifes birthday. It was placed well in advance then they called at the last minute and said half the flavors i wanted werent available as that they substituted something else. They didnt care. They just offered a lame email apology. My wife just ordered some to be delivered before Christmas and they never arrived. No call. No explanation. Just no delivery. This certainly isnt what I expect from a company that poses and charges like a premium service. Go elsewhere. I will.

HOW TO GET FREE CUPCAKES: Before you enter the store, go to the Georgetown cupcake website (mobile friendly) and look at the Live store cams. Play the Look In Our Fridge cam to see the cupcake of the day (handwritten name in the background). Give the name of the cupcake of the day to the cashier and get one free. I came in with 2 other family members and they gave me 3 free cupcakes!!! Beyond the free cupcakes, which look amazing, the people were friendly. I got there pretty early in the day so the place was empty and had the look of just getting set up. I recommend going, and the lure of free cupcakes should keep everyone coming back! Dont forget to get your parking validated if you park in the deck.

Second favorite cupcakes in Atlanta. Georgetown might be a fancy chain but the staff is nice and the cupcakes are great. The shop environs are pretty sparse and not meant for you to hang out, but thats the only downside. Cake is dense and moist, frosting is rich. If you think Piece of Cake is the best you wont like GC, the cake is way denser that PoC. The regular assortment of flavors are all good, especially the chocolate-based ones. But GC shines on the seasonal flavors. Currently there is a Raspberry Chocolate Chip cupcake for Valentines Day that is one of the best cupcakes Ive ever had. Id give them five stars but I do wish there was a bench out front or something to relax at.

Today, May 26, 2017, at approximately 11:50AM, I arrived to pick up the "graduation" cupcakes I ordered and they said they didnt have it ready because of some "computer glitch". They were unapologetic and after I had to ask them how they would remedy it, told me I could pick of the 12 cupcakes they already baked. Really? Why offer themed cupcakes if "Its all the same"? They didnt even bother to offer a remedy like attaching a "Congrats Grad" card or balloon to make up for not having the cupcakes ready. Between traffic and them wasting my time, I wasted two hours of time with them. I also had to demand I get my refund now. First and last time will ever purchase from them!!!

Poor customer service! Made a delivery order 2 business days ahead only for the order to arrive late (despite being initially told it would arrive within a certain time frame) and our cupcakes were damaged. The cupcakes were for a company networking event and we looked like fools waiting around for a late order and for it to arrive in horrible condition. This was our first time using Georgetown but never again. Save your money and go to another cupcake shop in Atlanta that provides better service and reliability. Otherwise youll be wondering where your cupcakes are!

I agree with previous reviewers that the cupcakes are delicious but the service is sub par. They are rarely friendly or smiling. The location is beautiful, but the employees are blah. I was excited to bring my children there as we always the DC location when visiting up north. But the experience in Atlanta was just bland. Theres also enough variety that I would think the employees would ask if a guest had any questions about the flavors. Thats a shame and a missed opportunity, especially for cupcakes that cost a pretty penny.

Read some reviews and goes to show most people have their taste buds in their derrière. Wheres the nutritional info on these pancreatic busting "treats"? So dang gone sweet I got a headache and a stomach ache and I regret buying 6. Waaaaaay to heavy for a cupcake and difficult to swallow, no liquid clears it from your mouth. Goes well with nothing probably need an insulin shot after you eat one. Never again. Over priced fad I look forward to the store in Buckhead to close. Publix cupcakes do just fine for 1/2 the price.
