Worst Pizza and worse customer service! I ordered two large pizzas last night. I ordered thin and crispy on both. I ask specifically for the pepperoni one to be extra crispy. I said "Char it"! The pizzas showed up barely cooked. Had I opened the boxes before I paid for them, I would have returned them! So, I call Bona to ask... what happen to "Char it" ? The person was the same one who took my order... He says " yea, I seen that go out that way" ..... I ask him, why did you send it out then? He replied to me, " thats the way weve been making them for 35 years " I was explaining to him, how many great pizzas Ive had from there and this was the worst ever. He said " well I dont know what to tell ya" AND he hangs up on me...LOL Really?!?!?! Wow, not the way I would handle a issue like that. So Folks... Theres lots of places to choose from. Bona is forever off my list of pizzas to eat! Very disappointed that the place was so good and now SO BAD!

Reviews and opinions are like body parts. We all have one of them! Bona has been a landmark for good basic Italian home cooked food and the team that works there has always been gracious and helpful. Bona is a place to go with friends for a home cooked meal. Bona opened its doors during the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma to cook what was available and feed those of us who were without electricity due to the storm for weeks. Its not Michelin starred and it doesnt try to be. Bona opens its doors to everyone no matter what their attitude. So read reviews and opinions good or bad. Then go make your own opinion and have a pizza or pasta with friends at Bona.

One of the worse dining experience ever! Live nearby but had never gone, asked by several neighbors to go to dinner so went. The place had to be 90 inside, was sweating all through dinner which is unusual for me. Courses werent paced to enjoy, everything rushed. Then after eating only my pasta, my neighbor says this is not what I ordered, I had been given his dinner. He got a new dinner made up and I got stuck finishing what was his, tasteless chicken parm. At no time did management/owner come over and apologize for the mix up and nothing comped at all. 1 Star is too much. Gave that because the overcooked garlic rolls were pretty good although hard!

My party of four went out on NYE. We didnt have a reservation so had about a 30 minute wait. That was fine given it was NYE. We got sat and didnt get greeted for 15 minutes. After 10 minutes I went up to the front host and her response was "well, its a busy night" very very rude. I mean, who responds that way. Not helpful at all. Once we got a server, it got better. Dinner was better then above average but not stellar. I would recommend to only go here if they are not busy to get better service. They dont seem like they do well under pressure.

If you order a pizza with 2 different toppings on each half, they will charge you for 4 toppings. And, they dont mention this to you! The pizza is the best in South Florida, but I recommend carry out. Cheryl the waitress has been there forever, and she is slow, forgetful and rude. The first two I can handle, but the rudeness eventually got to me. Management doesnt care, so I stopped going.

Used to be good... then they shrunk the size of their portions (both in the restaurant and delivery) but RAISED the prices! And delivery drivers continually show up without any change for a $20. And if they do have change, anything less than a $3.00 tip on a $12 pizza is met with a smirk. NY PIzza on Andrews north of Oakland is much better, bigger portions, lower prices, and quicker delivery.

If you want to know where the locals go for great food, this is it. My friends and I have have gone to Bona Pizza at least once a week for the last 5 years. The food and pizza is delicious and the prices truly reasonable. Its a comfortable atmosphere thats nice without being pretentious or corporate. Its no wonder that they have such a loyal local following. Highly recommended.

After ordering from them for years, staff was rude over a minimum delivery amount which was less than a dollar between the minimum amount said on the phone which was $12 and the minimum amount advertised on their website which is $10, the total of my order was $11 so they refused to deliver.

Been there a few times thanks to Groupon, food was pretty good, staff was friendly but the place has a nasty odor when you walk in. Smelled like an old musty house, so a big turn off. Maybe needs cleaned up and remodeled.

I came here twice this week. Both times the service and attention was top rate. The menu is large and the selections are delicious. This is a must try if you are in Wilton Manors or Ft. Lauderdale.

First time going to this restaurant, what a great casual dining Italian place! The garlic rolls, the lasagna and the chocolate mousse were all excellent! Ask for Cheryl, shes been there 16 years!

We were 3, no plates where good. One of the worst "Italian" ever. Italian meal is not that....north part of the Americas, theres real Italan, cooking real tasty Italian fine meals, for cheaper.

Always enjoy the classic music and very well mannered staff. The food is excellent. Lasagna is my favorite. Always take my out of town guests there for an extra special night out.

Horrible experience there, the wait staff forgot about my table of 6. We did receive our wine and salad, which was good. But never came back. We walked out...

New owners have gone out of their way to reconnect with the community. Definitely my first choice for pizza in the Fort Lauderdale/Wilton Manors area.

Really just average italian cuisine. Hit or miss. Chicken parm tasted burnt, a cold sub took forever!... Eh. Not impressed
