Last week I had The SSSS Cuban and it was really great. They bring in fresh local Cuban bread, pile on plenty of meat including their awesome in-house made roast pork - man-o-man is it a winner. I would have been back the very next day if I hadnt been out of town for work. Instead I returned today and had the Florida Avenue Reuben, a winner here as well. The balance of this sandwich is terrific, nothing is too over-done. The red cabbage kraut is mild and the 1,000 Island is spread really lightly. This accomplishes two things: 1. It keeps the sandwich, though served hot, from getting soggy; 2. It lets the loads of corned beef be the star. The again in-house brined corned beef is moist and spicy, almost melts-in-your-mouth. Literally. This is before you even get into the great couple who run the place. Local to Sulphur Springs and very proud of it. Incredibly friendly and want to know about who is coming into their place. Really sweet people doing something they clearly love. Careful not to miss it, especially if you are heading southbound on Florida Ave as the strip center it is in is "L" shaped and the north part juts out in front of the sandwich shop and other businesses. Once you find it, Im sure youll be a frequent visitor.

This is an incredible little mom and pop sandwich shop, which makes one of the best Cubans around. The sides are all amazing, from ham salad to the potato salad. Ive been here six or seven times, the quality of the food (inexpensively priced) is only surpassed by the heart these people have in their food and the community. Ive introduced several friends to the place, and they never disappoint. Im stingy with my praise of food establishments, most are "good, but I think this would make it great", but in this case, its well deserved. My only recommendation is to eat any toasted wheat sandwich in the shop, because the toast can get a little soft if it isnt eaten there. The bread is all sourced from local bakeries, most of the meat is sliced right in front of you, and many of the meats are made by hand. All of the salads are fresh, good ingredients, and have an awesome flavor. Baked goods (brownies, etc.) are usually available daily.

Blow your mind Flavor!!! A friend introduced me to this place over the weekend. I’m kind of disgruntled because usually I find these hidden gems around town. I had the Josiah T. Richardson Roast beef with white cheddar Dijon on the 1st layer followed with in house roasted turkey with dill Havarti on the 2nd layer. All this topped with baby spinach, tomato, and jalapeno relish. This sandwich came to the table first followed by my friends “Rolando” sandwich. I immediately confiscated half of her sandwich and went into sandwich ecstasy. Simple but spectacular sandwiches comprised of Hot pastrami dripping in juice with cheese slivered onions and potato sticks with angel aioli sauce on a pressed Cuban. Words cannot describe this sandwich, it’s a must try for sandwich lovers. There is about 15 other tantalizing sandwich offers on the menu. I will be a regular until my mission is complete.

We went here for the first time today after reading some really good reviews online and let me tell you, this place is awesome. Everything is fresh and made daily. I got a turkey sandwich and it was huge, fresh chunks of turkey breast. None of that processed crap they serve at chain sandwich places. Every sandwich is served with your choice of side and it changes as they are also made fresh everyday. I had the couscous with olives... Amazing. Go here and support these lovely business owners. You can tell they put their heart and soul into this business.

This place is AMAZING! We went in right before they closed on Saturday at about 2:30. Their staff was so friendly and accommodating. I ordered a kale salad and a small order or hummus and pita chips and they were out of pita chips. It was no big deal and I was just going to change my order, but the chef offered to make them fresh for me! They were still warm when we got home. The salad was EXCELLENT. My husband got a Reuben which was also amazing. Were looking forward to becoming regulars here!

Ive tried many different items from their menu and every single one has been beyond amazing. I *highly* recommend their infused water, and their cuban sandwich is the best in the bay and beyond. Try some of their test menu items as they are insanely delicious. Hands-down excellence when it comes to quality of food and friendly service. Wish their hours were a little different as I would eat there every single night after work. TRY THE CUBAN!!!

Killer sandwich!!! Saw this place online and the reviews were dead on. I scarfed down the Reuben and let me tell you it was dripping with flavor and goodness, the marble rye was toasted to perfection, the homemade slaw on top of the homemade corned beef was out of control. I live in Dunedin but visit the home Depot across the street and will make a point to stop here every chance I get.

As soon as you walk into this place youre greeted with a smile. Its small and has a few tables in it, but has a lot of character and good food. I had the Florida Avenue Reuben, which I suggest you get if youre having trouble deciding on what to order. They make their own corn beef here which takes them weeks and you can tell by how much flavor it has and how tender it is.

Went to Tampa to pick up supplies, Googled five star restaurants in the area and this sandwich shop came up, looking for a new adventure with my girls, we decided to check it out! The food was good I had the chicken sandwich with potato salad, portion was large! It was nice to see the owners behind the counter, keep chasing your dreams, you guys have a gem!

Best sandwich shop in Tampa hands down! Every sandwich Ive had has been amazing. They cook their own meats and the flavors show its not some store bought lunch meat. Homemade salads again you can taste the fresh ingredients. I always recommend this place to friends, family or to someone looking for a new place to try out. You wont be disappointed!

My sister placed a catering order with these folks and they were amazing from the moment I arrived to pick it up. The food was incredible and had a lot of healthy options, like quinoa salad. I still had to try their Cubans though, and Im glad I did. It was great. Another one of Tampas best kept secrets!

This place is hands down the best sandwich shop in Tampa. I havent had sandwiches this good since I left New England. Creative, delicious, huge and at amazing prices. They roast their own meats! Thats incredible and you can definitely taste the difference.
