Had to pick a star….. NO STARS FOR ME ANYMORE!!!! BEWARE!!!! VERY RECENTLY>>>>The food being cooked and served to you is NOT ACCREDITED BY A LICENSED FOOD PROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!! Recently, the only provider and cook has been let go and amateurs without food service license is filling in on a shoe string!!!!!!!!!!!!! I GOT SEVERELY SICK at age 57, on a simple egg salad stuffed tomato. BEWARE!!! This establishment does NOT CARE about your welfare!!!! PLEASE! I have never, ever felt so strongly about something … This is the FIRST time that I have EVER felt the need to tell people about a HUGE INJUSTICE /FARSE!!!!! Please do NOT TRUST THIS PLACE FOR FOOD!!!!!!! Soda and bait! That is it!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic Grocery, Sandwich, Antiques, Bait Shop! I havent been in yet, but my visiting sisters stopped in. They loved the place! Great variety. I got to try the cookies they got and the leftovers of the sandwiches. Both absolutely delicious! And extremely reasonably priced. I think she said the sandwiches were $5.25? And they were big! The cookies were homemade, unique, and scrumptious! One was lemon with a delicious frosting and another was chocolate fudge with coconut I think. Another was peanut butter. Wow! Its been sitting there...I kept noticing they kept adding things, but I hadnt made the time to stop. Im headed over there!

We saw the sign from Hillsborough Blvd "$6.50 lunch special". I was getting my tires replaces at Tire World and the ladies there said the food was great. I ended up getting two lunch specials which consisted of homemade chicken salad on homemade white bread with homemade potato salad and fresh lemonade. They also make great salads, (Ive yet to try) WOW! The sandwich was so filling, both myself and my BF could only eat half the sandwich! We wrapped it up for later. Would def go back again. They also gave me a sample of there homemade turkey chili and corn bread...soo good! Highly recommend!

Mom & pop feel, friendly. They have fresh squeezed lemonade, makes for a nice Arnold Palmer when mixed w/ their fresh brewed sweet tea. Homemade cookies. Had a sandwich here for the first time last week. Nicely done, w/ beef sliced fresh from a roast, good bit of lettuce & tomato, plus little side of potato salad. It is hit or miss these days in Seminole Heights w/ places having a a bit of an off putting arent we special sort of a vibe (at least to me, realizing opinions will vary). This place has none of that, which is a good thing!

Saw this as it started to get put up last year and always wondered what it is. Its very much a general store and you can find anything from bait to local wine to goats milk soap to fresh vegetables. They just got some more local beer and wine in last week and the sandwich station has been open a while, havent tried it yet. Vegetables are fresh and good quality. Also, open until 9 now, they just extended hours. Its right on Google or their site, whichever is later is correct

Quaint little shop. Great sandwiches. Greek potato salad is awesome. They have cookies. Huge selection of bottled beverages. Candles. Knickknacks. Groceries. Fishing bait and gear. Yes You read that right. A mishmash of stuff you might not expect to see in the middle of the city. But yet there it is. Check it out.

What a neat place. They have a cool selection of antique-type things, local artisan goods, dry stuffs and fresh produce. The staff is friendly but didnt seem too knowledgable - a little young, maybe high schoolers (family run business?). Only complaint is that the place needed a thorough dust!

I love this place. After driving by for three years finally decided to stop in, the staff is very nice and welcoming. You forget that you are in Tampa the second you walk in the door. Live bait is a big plus.

Hands down the best homemade sandwiches in town. I just ask for a nice sandwich and let them do the rest. I never know what it will be and its always wonderful. Try it some time, you wont be disappointed...
