STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Bug in food. First time here. Pei Wei has better food then this. I ordered chicken and broccoli , and also got vegetable fried rice. they told me with the combination it came with rice. I told them i ordered fried rice so if they can give me an extra spring roll or more chicken and broccoli. they said no. then the lady said if it was up to her she would but its not on the computer.. so i told her then add rice on the computer and then go in the back and just give me an extra one. she looked at me and just ignored me. again she asked if i wanted rice or pork fried rice. I told her i just ordered fried rice. unless they cane substitute the pork rice for vegetable fried rice. again she said she cant do that on the computer. i ended up getting white rice. i asked for hot sauce and for two spoons worth of sauce they wanted .30 cents. then I said if i was eating here it would be free since its on the tables. he just sad sorry and its .30 cents.. i took my order and left.. will not be going there again. so much for a first time experience. Food. chicken and broccoli was socked in water like it was a soup. the broccoli was all mushy and had separated making it small minced pieces that came off the stem. the chicken fried rice was ok . not a lot of flavor, extremely bland barley any vegetables. The soup had an extra ingredient.. a bug... FINAL REVIEW.. Bad food, Bad Service for take out and bugs in your food.My mistake was not looking at not trying the food out before I left. I took my food back right away and got my money back. and yes you guessed it.. even that was hard for them do do cuz its not in their system.

I never write review. But this time i needed to because i want the owner to see this. I just moved in the area and looking for a good dim sum to eat. I find this restaurant 7 minutes from my house and give it a try. The foods are good. I when there 3 in a week and that will be my last because do to the service i received. First time i order a lot of food for by myself because i know my husband and kids will join me later. The second time i order a lot of food for our family of 4. The same lady that serve us a little ruled because i order lot of food for 2 adult and 2 kid. Anyway both time we tips $10 or more in cash. Today we eat 4people again and i look at my bill closely, i find out they charge us 15% service tip for 4people to eat. It charge us almost $12 of what i order. So make me think both time they charge me on my bill and i give them more money on top of that. It make me feel this place so shady. I never know a normal restaurant automatic charge u to eat 4people and less. This is not an upscale or resort restaurant to automatic charge costumer tip for less then six peoples eat. So i ask the lady in the front desk, u service charge tip automatic even one or two people eat. she said yes ! Because she have lot of employees their complaints people dont tip enough %15. I know that some peoples dont know how to tip but tipping is all about the service to. If u dont train your employees right, it the restaurant lost.

We finally got to try this recently, when a friend organized an event. I have loved dim sum since our trip to Hong Kong, many years ago. This is not a location that brings the offerings around on carts, so you order from a list. Since there was a large group of us, we got to try a lot of things that we ordinarily would not have. Of course se we had to have the BBQ steam buns, as they are a favorite of my daughter. They were big clouds of puffy dough with just the right amount of flavorful BBQ pork. The fried dumplings were excellent, as were the chive dumplings. The shrimp in rice paste were new to me and I really liked them. I didnt know you could get rice to act like pasta. Also knew were the salt and pepper squid, which had a bit too much of both, and the jellyfish, which had great flavor but a really odd sort of crispy rubber band texture. I just couldnt make myself try the huge, gelatinous looking chicken feet. I have my limits. The custard bun was disappointing in that it had little filling and seemed to be over baked. My overall impression was that the things that were baked or steamed were very good. The ones that were deep fried were very greasy and I wouldnt order them again. Overall, this was really fun and the more people you go with, the better it gets.

Love this place! Been coming for years now. I am Cantonese Chinese and had been looking for more authentic Hong Kong style Chinese food and Dim Sum. This is as close as it gets if you want authentic. Of course, you need to know what to order if you want authentic because they also provide more Americanized Chinese food as well. Heres what I always order when I go. Shrimp Dumpling Wonton noodles with broth and dumplings Stir fried soy noodles with bean sprouts Fried Taro pastries Char Siew Bow - Steamed BBQ Pork Buns Beef Chow Fun with a little spice/chili Chinese spare ribs in black bean sauce Spicy clams fried in chili and black bean sauce Chicken feet (steamed till it melts in your mouth) Chee Cheong Fun (rice paste with shrimp or pork or rice stick) Beef balls with watercress Egg custard tarts Sweet sesame balls with filling Stuffed pork wrapped in bean curd Rice porridge with rice stick Turnip cake Beef plate FYI - the food is ALWAYS GOOD! But sometimes the service can be really really slow and sometimes its great.... Either way, I try not to let the inconsistent customer and wait service bother me because the food is really good....and remember....choose your dishes wisely.

The service here is horrible and waitresses are rude. When we ate at this restaurant, I asked the waitress if she could bring me some slices of lemon to put in my water and to squeeze some in my noodles for added taste. (I always like it for an added twist to the salty flavor). She looked at me and said "WHAT FOR??.". OMG, I almost fell from my chair. Modesty aside, I have been to 25 countries and dined in various restaurants, but this is the first time a waitress asked me what I would do with something I politely asked for. Well, first of all- we ate here before and they always have a slice a lemon in their water but I think they are trying to cut down. And so the intrepid Waitress who answered in broken English said, I will give you some but only two slices and she did. Im also not impressed with the containers of sweet sauce, chili oil and pepper because they are yukky and it seems they dont clean them. I will never come back to this restaurant. I would rather be in a place where waitress can explain whats on the menu and serve you with a smiling face.
