I have been going to Marble Slab for years and have nothing but stellar opinions of the establishment. The store is quaint and clean, and the staff is energetic and fun. The ice cream is definitely the BEST in town. Yes, it is more expensive than going to a grocery store, but the quality of their homemade products is self-evident. Compared to the flavorless, air-filled "ice cream" found at grocery markets and most parlors, Marble Slabs hand-mixed, homemade confections are a heavenly delight that would be worth well more than the mere $5 that I pay each visit for my Cookie Dough Drizzle waffle cone. It is, and always will be, the number one creamery, in both St. Augustine and the world.

The lack of options for a beach town is a bit surprising when youre south of the island. Marble Slab is good, although Im getting a little tired of the high price just because they hand mix in the "bits". So if you just feel like chocolate chip ice cream, its a production and you pay almost $6 just for a scoop of chips.

Best ice cream on the island! All of the ice cream is homemade and they are always more than happy to let you sample whatever flavor you would like. They have a million options for toppings too. Every time I have a craving for a huge cup of ice cream, marble slab gets my money!

This is my favorite place to stop in and treat my family in St. Augustine, FL. I love the banana home made ice-cream and my child loves the cotton candy ice-cream with sprinkles. I recommend it for visitors and locals!
