I went by too late in the day and they were closed so I ate somewhere else and went online to look at Banana River Cafes menu but it was not posted. If I cant look at the prices before I go then I might have to feel like a jerk for walking in taking up space while I look at their menu and and then maybe have to walk out because the place might be more expensive than I want to spend today. So if the prices arent posted online for me to look at before I go, then Im not likely to ever try the place. I just happened by there today because I was already in the same parking lot, but why does a restaurant in the age of the internet have a listing but not post its menu and its prices?

Really creative food in a laid back informal setting with congenial owners and fun staff. The chef and owner uses everything from smoked gouda and smoked paprika, to a variety of sausages and mushrooms in a variety of delicious omelets. We like to have a great breakfast at Banana River Cafe before heading out kayaking or biking.

We were sad when Blue Lemon Cafe closed (in this location). But were super happy that we gave the Banana River Cafe a shot! The carnitas and Ancho chicken today were excellent! Great selection of hot sauces. Really nice menu, but even more impressive specials! Prices were quite fair as well. We left very content. Well be back!

First time for breakfast and will not return. Was told to find another table after being seated. We were placed under the wall menu and became very uncomfortable as people stood over our table to read specials. The table we were moved from remained empty the whole time we were there. Prices were also above average.

My wife and I were literally their first customers when they first opened years ago. We have always loved everything about this local restaurant! A wonderful place for breakfast or lunch! Lorin does some amazing and creative things. Plus the service is always great! A true local gem!

Surprisingly large amount of very well prepared, delicious breakfast for a reasonable price. They actually grind their kona beans just before brewing, making for an unusually good bottomless coffee. Excellent service and relaxed atmosphere, too!

A local favorite. Fun and friendly staff with a variety of items on the menu. Even during the peak hours, the food reflects a stellar kitchen staff. A must visit for breakfast or lunch if youre in the area!

Wonderful breakfast creations! They always have several new and sometime unusual breakfast specials. The chefs anejo sauce is awesome. Try the Mexican omelet - my favorite!

I had a Chorizo power bowl there. It was fantastic! I really enjoyed the flavors and its a healthy option at a reasonable price. Will definitely be coming back!
