Hard to believe this place is owned by the same people who own the location near UM where the food and service are so great. I went in there last week with a coupon THEY published in a local mag. When the cashier went to consult with the manager they tried to pull a fast one on me and not honor the coupon. After that she had to consult with 3 different people to figure out how to calculate 50% off one of the entrees. What was already awkward only got worse when the manager emerged from the kitchen and started talking with the girl about me and giving me dirty looks exactly five feet away from where I was sitting. The cashier was obviously overwhelmed, but the manager just had a nasty disposition. With all the wonderfully pleasant people they have working at the other store, how do they end up with this bunch??? And yes, that microwave was working overtime! Drive the few extra miles to the other store. Its well worth the extra gas.

We ordered suiza enchiladas and a taco fiesta platter. At first we were excited. We walked in, it smelled great, and the people were nice AND they had horchata which I love. Our food came out within four minutes of us placing our order. We had barely sat down. This quick turnaround made us a little skeptical. Those suspicions were quickly confirmed once we began to eat. The food was little better than Taco Bell. Also, the salsa was hidden behind the drinks in a dark corner on the way to the bathroom. Additionally, they kept turning the lights on and off depending on how many people were there. I dont know why people are so excited about this place, but I dont think that Ill be patronizing it again.

Place is tiny, kind of like a fast food place, except they brought me the food after I paid. Tacos are ok, quesadillas ok. Some old venezuelan couple suggested me to order the pollo asado. I did. I am not sure if they girl that did not seem mexican or the mexican that served me and offered me an extra set of utensils, or the pico de gallo sauce, but they all sure acted weird, like expert team of framers of MIA, the thing is that I ended up with blistards on my mouth, like herpers, cold sores or whatever you call it (the less evil version) But that how this people are; if you dont mind place is so so; rice was old, beans were ugly, suspicios chicken I trew it away, plantains were perfect.

I have been a patron of the location by Lejeune for many many years. So as you can imagine I was thrilled they opened one next to my new home. I have gone to the Pinecrest location since they have opened and have never had a problem. The food is prepared quickly and to my specifications. My daughter also loves going. Sometimes it is hard to find a table to sit down and eat, however when that happens we just take it to go. Best steak burrito around!!

Theyve added vegetarian and vegan dishes which makes things so much easier for me. My dad is a meat eater so his order is always simple and when Id order for myself it would be with a ton of substitions or "please dont add that". Always friendly people at the counter. They keep the fresh salsas on ice and are happy to give you more chips. Theyve also gotten rid of styrofoam containers and now use a more environmentally friendly packaging! :D

We should have walked out when we saw employees using a microwave to warm up food. My husband and I had a horrible meal. I ordered chicken enchiladas with mole. The staff served a tortilla stuffed with dry diced chicken breast, topped with obviously canned mole. Then they nuked the hell out of it. My husband ordered churrasco, which was so tough we assume it was microwaved as well. Can we give this place negative stars??

I ordered the 3 taco platter. The chicken was so dried that I felt I was eating plastic. The rice was also old and dried up. The refried beans did not taste good either not sure why. The tacos dont come with sour cream ( what the !@#$ ) I do support small businesses all the time but in this case go next door to chipotle their food is much fresher than this establishment.

Food is always good here. However, since they went to delivery via EAT 24, I have been extremely disappointed with delivery time. My last order took 90 minutes from placing my order directly with the restaurant. This is unacceptable. I refuse to request delivery from this restaurant in the future. The food is good. I will only eat at their location.

Waited over 30 minutes for take out, food had been plated and sitting for so long it was cold - the tacos were so soggy the tortillas fell in half when picked up. The food was hardly edible by the time we got it. Extremely disappointed in this location compared to the smaller but somehow more efficient Coral Gables location.

This place would be a 5 stars for me if it were cleaner. The food is good, delivery is very convenient, but if you choose to dine in the experience may not be so pleasant. They really have the small town middle-of-nowhere-Mexico feel down. They should gut the place and start afresh. love their seasonal mango sauce.

This is by far the best tex-mex in Miami. Ive been eating at Taco Rico once a week for a couple years now. The prices are great, the food is amazing. I honestly dont understand how people can give this place anything less than 5 stars. They obviously dont know what good food tastes like.

Delicious tex-mex in a fun, casual atmosphere. Originally came for Monday Madness $1 tacos, but fell in love with the rest of the menu. All of the lunch specials and house platters are amazing and I love to order the chili con queso and an order of crispy taquitos - perfect for dipping.

Authentic Mexican-style tacos. Diablo, carne and pork...not to be missed. Beef tongue good, chicken taco was more American style. Much larger menu that just tacos. Friendly staff, but they dont sell cerveza. Downtown location.

Little neighborhood local place. Great food at low prices. Friendly service. Small so the seating a little cramped but worth it. Lots of customers use for takeout. Extra salsa available in back. Try the chipotle.

A good place to quench your taco craving. Taco, burritos, quesadillas are the main offerings here. Portion size is generous and prices are very reasonable.

My husband and I went yesterday (Oct 4) and the food was fantastic. I had the steak quesadilla and it was so moist. I truly enjoyed the meal.
