This place is amazing. My Dad loves BBQ and discovered Bare Bones BBQ when he was staying at the hotel across from them. The smell brought him over and he ate ribs for the 3 days he was in town. His birthday is this weekend and his only request was for me to bring him some ribs from Bare Bones BBQ (I live in town and my family lives in Federal Way, two hours south of here). We needed a lot of ribs. So, I called ahead and got a lot of help from Kelly. He told me exactly how many we needed to order and how to reheat them once we got them down south. He even tossed in an extra half-rack for my Dads birthday. AMAZING FOOD. AMAZING SERVICE. I also love supporting local business so, SUPPORT LOCAL! They do good work here.

The Brisket and Beef ribs best around cole slaw as well. This is a bbq take out basically. They have only a few tables. Looks like family business. They for sure have tremendous experience. You cant cook BBQ and not know what you are doing. You have BBQ. Places like sonnys that left the area certainly Not as good. Shortys has huge dining room and what I consider good fast food BBQ. Bare bones doesnt advertise dine in huge dining room ? You get this people leaving reviews who write without thinking. What is Bare bones Bbq. It is an exceptional BBQ take out With top quality meats and poultry cooked top notch. Dont want to sweat in sauna heat cooking BBQ This is an awesome experience!!!

I base my rating on food first, service 2nd, and then atmosphere 3rd. With that being said, I would so much like to leave this place a 5*, but after giving this place a try 3 times, I just cant. 1st experience, Id ordered a meat combo of brisket and jerk pork, and the BRISKET blew me away! It was smoked nicely, had tons of flavor, and the best thing was it just melted in my mouth. The 2nd and the 3rd time back, I ordered just the brisket, and it was overcooked and on the bland side. Maybe Ill be back to try their ribs, it seem to have higher ratings...

We have been eating at bare bones since it opened, and I gotta tell you it is the best. I am from the midwest and know good bbq. This is good bbq. The ribs, brisket and chicken are to die for, and the sides are just as good. The mac and cheese is untouchable by any other place. when you call for takout out, its always 20 minutes, and it is always more than 20 minutes, so dont get mad, its worth the wait. Tommy puts his heart and soul into every meal, and it shows. Best bbq by far in town.

Im notoriously picky when it comes to Jerk chicken. Ive scoured the web for tips and pointers on where and when to get the best in Miami. NO ONE ELSE COMPARES TO THIS. Its just the right amount of heat with tang. Unassuming little location with the friendliest staff (a family, I believe) and honestly worth every single penny. Coming back to try the brisket! It was sold out when I came in so Im taking that as a good sign.

I have order ribs on almost every please, most of the time for take out, this restaurant blow my mind, the baby back ribs were amazing, great flavor and super soft, the only bad thing about this place it is only for take out. There is only a couple of table and i would not recommend to stay. I did not try anything else but rib are for sure one of the best and the portions are bigger than most places.

Yes he is my brother, so you would imagine i would give him a 5 star. I usually like to tell it like it is. Let me start with, "WOW, AWESOME brisket!" If you are hungry and the thought of protein goes through your head, come and pick up some Bare Bones BBQ. Go hit them up! You will not regret it.

Used to work right next to this place and ordered lunch at least once a week. Try the spare ribs and pulled pork, potato salad and the fries are delicious. And if they have it try the apple corn bread, served with a simple syrup that makes it a light dessert to top off your BBQ feast.

Bare Bones BBQ & Jerk is such a gem. Off the beaten path, small local establishment with Bourdain & Zimmern caliber tastes. Think about good BBQ youve had then go to BB BBQ & Jerk & be amazed. Best to schedule a nap afterwards. Serves two tables only so best to order for pick up.

Bare Bones is the best BBQ Ive had in years. Puts all the BBQ places to shame. Their Brisket is mouth watering! The baby back ribs are gigantic, the meat falls off the bones. Mac and cheese and potato salad is fantastic. The Chef is well trained and is a five star. See you soon!

Mostly food to go. There are only 2 tables and place is small. Food is simply average. Ribs, chicken and brisket beef was lack of flavor. I was expecting more flavor in the food at this place. Portions have good size

Pro: Very good, had the 12 hour brisket with the ribs, mac & cheese , and collard greens. Good combo food very hot and fresh nice establishment will be returning thank you. Con: only wish the combo came with a drink.

Brisket cooked perfectly and really tender. Sides were pretty good also. Would be nice if dinner came with garlic bread or toast without having to order it as a side. Other than that everything was excellent.

DELICIOUS!!!!! I had the jerk pork and my friend had the pulled pork. Yummmmmmm, it was soooo good. The tangy coleslaw was ok but the mac and cheese is a must try! Def going back to this place.

Decent food. Personally it has a light flavor and I first said it was just ok. But I have still bought there 6 times in 2 months. Tender and not tough. Sorry no pics I ate it all.

Bear and Bone BBQ my ass! I waited 45 mins for $21 meal that wasnt even a meal. It was like serving one leg with a pinch of rice. Never again. No bueno!
