I love their food and never had a problem til today! I understand having new employees, but totally inept ! I ordered a half sub as a special treat to myself and asked for it "to go". Told the girl Id be back in twenty minutes to pick up. I came back, waited in line for 5 minutes, to be told she never made it. I said ok, Ill wait, then instead of making my sandwich, she goes on to next person, and now that takes another 10min! So a half hour to make a half sub! Ridiculous! So I ask for my money back and she recharges my card saying that the "machine" said it was a refund. I asked for a reciept and she gives me a charge slip.! So she gave me cash back for one charge and I wanted to give her my number just in case she double charged me. She told me "cant you check your account, and you should call in the morning ". I am LIVID PISSED! SOME SERIOUS HELP IS NEEDED IN THIS RESTAURANT IF THAT HOW YOU TRWAT YOUR GUESTS! I used to recommend this place, now I will not ever go back.

I have been an Englunds regular since I was a small child. Lets just say, my recent experience was less than enjoyable. I knew that they had closed for a short period of time; however, I was not aware that they would return with the same name but as an entirely different entity. I choose to order my all time favorite.... Roast beef and provolone, all the way, with added pickles and cherry peppers. Boy was I disappointed! The meat was less than average quality and sliced and stacked terribly. I had little to no toppings. And my favorite part, the pickles, were an utter disappointment. I say this because, the real Englunds slices their own Kosher pickles just for their subs. I could continue but it seems to be a waste. If you want a true Englunds sub, go to the Cape Coral location. The new owners of Englunds - North Fort Myers - do not deserve to carry the name.

Today has been the second time Ive been to this Deli for a super Italian sub for the 2nd time I was extremely very disappointed in this sub!!!! The first time was right after they opened the doors after taking it over from the original owner. The exact same experience happened the first time I went to the new owners. I figured because the new owners just opened up their still learning 1st they dont know proper meat or the thickness of the sliced meat for an Italian hoagie sub!!!! 2nd I asked for everything on it except for vinegar I get back home the only thing extra that was on it was mayonnaise. I really wish the original owners would take the store back over at least they knew how to make an Italian sub. Just being honest!!!!!

DELICIOUS food, GREAT customer service, clean and comfy to dine in. I have been in Florida a year and half from Philadelphia where my favorite item to eat was a hoagie, ive searched high and low with GREAT disappointment in the "subs" they claim to be so great...a friend told me about Englunds and at this point i wasnt interested in letting my taste buds down yet again. but we went in for lunch today anyway and from the moment i walked in i was blown away. The small but cute deli even SMELLED like a good italian hoagie from up north. Much bigger then you will get from anywhere else around here i was VERY pleased and will surely be spreading the word and coming in more often. THANK YOU FOR GREAT FOOD AND YOUR GREAT SERVICE.

Im giving them a 5 on overall taste of food and prices as well as being friendly. However I went today for the first time in months (after remodel) and ordered a meatball parm. Expecting the homemade taste as usual but instead opened the sandwich and they used frozen meatball with good sauce and cheese. Im use to the fresh meatball made how they use to have it. Im hoping they were just out of meatball and use these as backup. I wish someone wouldve said something-I wouldve ordered a different sandwich. Not there usual which I wanted to make very clear and I dont know if this is a permanent change to how the sandwich is made. Hopefully different next time.

I am a U.S.A sub guy,all over country!( ha,east of Mississippi, ) Englunds ,probably the best ! Thk.god I live in Cape!Highly recommend this place,people are great,food unfriggen real! You talking size? Yes it does count!, as that weird guy at fuccillo Kia says....its HUUUGGEee!!! Any way if you dont like it,your nuts!!! ( I get carried away when I like something!)wish I could post my satisfied face to show you) would but dont know how,anyways bonapetite???(time for round 3) .

They have amazing food but TERRIBLE customer service skills from one female employee specifically. Absolutely no manners whatsoever and does not care about business for what is a great establishment. I thought maybe my first time it was just a bad day on her part which I could understand, but no. This has been 3 different occasions dealing with the same woman, unfortunately her manners ruined what was a great experience. Will not return!

Best sub Ive had in a long long time. Enjoyable visit as well. The gentleman that waited on me noted my Baltimore accent immediately and come to find out we grew up very close to each other in Perry Hall Maryland Small World. I forgot to ask him his name theres probably a connection anyway the food was incredible The Price is Right the service is excellent I highly recommend this

The sub so excellent that they are irresistible and will make you full for a great low price. Their subs are so big that it will be enough to feed 4 people. You should stop by and see for yourself and you will be saying the same thing that Im saying now. I woke up this morning thinking about the subs I had yesterday. Their subs are so good that makes me want to slap your mama LOL

Ever since a friend of mine brought me here, I cannot get enough. Every chance I get Im going to englunds to get that sub I crave. Hands down best sandwich Ive ever had, wonderful friendly service all the time and extremely affordable. If this place shuts down, I think I will be heartbroken. I will never ever walk into a Subway again.

We used Englunds to cater our event - a surprise 80th birthday party for our father. The surprise was a huge success! Englunds was also a big hit with the guests. Food was great, portions were the best and service was excellent. Home town service with a smile. Will definitely use again and even stop in for lunch.

Went to get food at 12:25 today and employee was locking the door, told me that they were closing for the holiday. Holiday is tomorrow. No sign up stating that they were closing early. Several other people pulled up wanting food. I dont have a problem with closing but at least post a sign.

Apparently under new ownership the lunch meat is not the same anymore neither is the macaroni salad what a shame Ive been down here 11 years in Fort Myers and they used to have the best subs around I got a roast beef sandwich and I swear to you it is not the same as it used to be
