I had the honors of visiting this little place on Friday. I just found out about it through searching the web for QUALITY Haitian cuisine in South Florida, saw great reviews and went straight down after work, tired and all. What other place do you see with 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD, so I had to check it out. Spoke to the owner and she said she just made her 1 year anniversary, and already has excellent consistent reviews! That is a w e s o m e!!! Places thats been open much longer dont even have that. The food, particularly the LEGUME, was ON POINT!!! Had a sweetness to it and she knew I was gon get hooked, thats why she suggested it lol! She gave me a GOOD portion for just $10.07. Presentation (diri blan, sospwa kongo, legume, and 2 crisp bunan pezes) was very professional, clean, and fresh, and made the dish more appealing. Pa gen oken gres sliding down from the legume which was highly appreciated! You could even see the two ladies in the back pouring vinegar on the meat, which added credibility cause I aint with that vyun sunti kree! Coming back for more. Go head ladies, yall KILLIN it!!!

I drove over 30 minutes to try this food and it was not worth the drive! First, the menu said $10-&15 for fried fish, but when I got there it was $20. I was told they only had two left, hence the increase in price(as a business you should abide by the price on the menu). Second, they only give you two pieces of plantains; majority of places give 3 or 4 with the meal. The picklease and sauce were in palm size containers and were not good! The rice was dry and the sauce was not enough or very good; had no flavor but was full of oil. The two redeeming qualities were that the fish was well seasoned and the restaurant appeared clean. Overall, I dont feel the food was truly authentic Haitian food. Since it was just ok and on the count I was overcharged for the fish, I would not drive that far again! I am also questioning the authenticity of the reviews! There is no way all of them are real!

Well, let me tell you. La Belle jacmelienne cafe is the best haitian restaurant in south florida. I cant stop eating their food, i look forward going back to eat their cooking. The people there are friendly and make you feel like family... i had an African American police officer whos well traveled taste their goat, he told me thats the best goat he ever had in his life. His response validated something i had already felt about their goat.... "The best." (*****)

Ok I recently got the chance to meet the owner Bernie. What what delight to know that the owner whos some who endure the common norms youll see experience at most Haitian restaurants ex: rude customer service, lengthy wait times, and either over cooked or greasy food. This and many visits to LA Belle Jacmelienne Cafe has been to refreshing. Quick service, pleasant staff, comfortable environment and an owner and staff that care about there customers. I must visit!

My boyfriend and I were trying to find a good Haitian restaurant in the area and we came across La Belle. It was one of the best choices weve made. The service was amazing and most importantly the food was phonomenal! The place was clean and there was a cozy, warm, welcoming feeling inside. The women working were so friendly and pleasant. We definitely recommend this place to anyone! This was our first visit and definitely not our last! Thank you!!

I dont usually do reviews.... But Today I tried La Belle for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! I would give this restaurant TEN STARS, if that were possible. Their seasoning is on point, and the hospitality was adequate. I would recommend this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very clean. They have a nice sit in as well, and also an outside sit in. I guarantee satisfaction!

Small mom and pop shop. I was on vacation visiting some friends and they recommended to check this place out. The owner recommended the soup and it was delicious. The service was fantastic and the owner even took the time to have a conversation with me. This place definitely captures the heart of Miami. It will definitely be a place I will stop by every time I go to visit.

Dont treat new customers like theyre invisible and dont assume all your customers are Haitian,Miami is very diverse and there are other people out there that would like to try your food but youll never know if you keep ignoring your new customers to chat with regulars. Wont be coming back!
