I am really glad I had the chance to stop by today!! By random chance, I found the instagram account of the Chef Reuben Ruiz - @chefreuben and my stomach had to sample what he can dish out. The location was easy to find with GPS, parking a bit tricky and tight, but I was very thankful they had their own lot. The interior is cozy for a small space, well decorated with funny signs like "Life is short, Eat dessert first". Between watching the staff and ( I think) "The Chew" on tv, it was evident it is a well run ship with the staff members greeting customers promptly, quick service, and speedy "checkout" so you can move on with your day. I ordered the "Jameson Apricot Glazed Cheddar Cheese Burger". The photos I sent to family made them insanely jealous. There is something about a burger when it is crafted with the eating experience in mind that makes a great meal. There was a depth of flavor and texture that was moaning inducing. I look forward to returning and sampling other features of the menu.

I love this place, Ive been going to it for years and have seen them grow. Most recently with the addition of extra seating areas where they expanded the restaurant portion. So this place was a bodega/cafe where they primarily sold liquor until people found out how good their food was. Surprisingly there are very few areas near the Miami International Aiport to get some good food, so this place can get crowded during lunch hours. Its not very big to begin with, so its difficult to get a seat during lunch time especially if you are coming with a few co-workers. Food wise you cant go wrong with anything on the menu, its all delicious Spanish food. Its one of my go to spots when I have out of towners comes in and asks for authentic "Spanish Food", they always want to come back. Portions are big, great prices, and fast service. Try their Cuban coffee some of the best youll have.

The owner/chef is one of the worst people i have ever met. Me nor any of my buddies will go there again. We waited 50mins for our food as we watched other guest that arrived recently get their food after just being there 15mins after and ordering. We were so upset, we approached the owner and explained what happened and his reply was " you guys had 8 orders in front of you, ( but people that came after us have their food already) and this is the first time we mess up with you guys you guys come here all the time " .... So even after acknowledging that we go there often . He still believed nothing was wrong with the situation and didnt even apologized. if i can give him a Half star that what it would be.

Great local joint with great food and coffee, tons of fresh juices and iced drinks, fresh fruits. Beers including craft, and liquors from top to bottom shelf. The alcohol can be consumed on property or sold to go! Local favorite for myself. The place also sells some toiletries such as toothpaste, deodorant, shaving cream, etc. Definitely a local joint and speaking Spanish is a huge plus, but most patrons and employees speak more the adequate English. Popular place for small groups and mingling from breakfast to dinner!

Had a layover in Miami and was staying at the Ramada. I needed to go for a walk and get some food and beer to bring back to the room. What a gem I accidentally found. Really good food at even better prices. The staff were really nice to obvious out of Towner. The menu is extensive and I cannot comment on it all, but my Cuban sandwich was very good. I could not eat it all and I am no food pansy. I wish there was one of these in my neighborhood.

Was coming back from a business trip and had a 6 hour layover in Miami. If you are adventurous like me, this little hole in the wall has crazy good cuban food for a damn good price. Pictured above, the famous "steak sandwich" and only $6.99 (this thing is the size of my forearm!) Dont miss out and be skeptic by the venue asthetics, this place packs a mean punch to your hunger!

Good food and great prices. However, service is the worst. Really bad. They only have two people running the whole restaurant in the front house. Customers have to yell and call someone to get anything. Eating rice and beans with fried plantains requires effort. And water drinks were not present.

Have been working at a local business and stumbled upon this place, been there several times for lunch. Atmosphere is not where you would want to take a prom date, but food is awesome and place is always busy, at least for lunch. Dont underestimate the food at this place!!!

Just down the street from our hotel. My wife and I enjoyed some of the best Carne Asada weve ever had. The beans and rice, and the cole slaw were all exceptional. A great place to enjoy some really good food.
