I had a number of issues with this place, for starters, there wasnt much variety. And the food they did have on the buffet was old. And if old doesnt bother you like it does me, maybe the hair in the chicken will be what gets to you or possibly the green egg in the egg drop soup. I had a hard time finding food that I was willing to eat, so I wouldnt leave a buffet hungry. The service in here was not that great either, our waiter cleared plates a couple times, but thats it. There was not a single refill on our drinks. I thought well maybe this buffet will at least be cheap, but I dont call $12 per adult and $6 for a child who barely eats cheap. We told the lady at the desk this when we paid our bill and she gave us 10% off our bill, which is better than nothing. But you can get 10% off just by using the coupon for the place in a tourist guide.

Reading some of these positive reviews makes me question their authenticity as real customers and not just the management trying to negate the negative ones. Im a Chinese food fanatic and it doesnt take a whole lot to make me happy with this type of food. Terrible. Visiting from Jacksonville and saw this place. It was $11.99 a person and it was awful. The food was all several hours old (almost inedible) and probably not very good when fresh either. The staff wasnt rude, but they were not even close to friendly. Would highly recommend you look somewhere else unless you want to leave disappointed and feeling ripped off....

Without doubt the worst selection of food in a Chinese buffet I have ever tasted. Could have lived with that if the service was good but unfortunately we were totally ignored for the entire meal and when we were spoken to order drinks etc the tone of the lady was downright rude! Thinking that was as bad as it could get and writing off the evening as a bit of a mistake we begrudgingly paid and left. In the early hours of the morning I awake with violent stomach pains and then had sickness and diarrhoea for the next 36 hours of our holiday due to food poisoning!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!

Both the hot and cold items were lukewarm and fairly tasteless. The service was nice, but more interested in gossiping with each other and playing on their phones. Also, 1 price was quoted and another, $2 higher, was charged. I brought it up and they said the higher charge was because of crab legs on the buffet, but upon being seated, I was quoted 1 price with crab legs and another without. I realize its only $2, but its the principle. Overall, this place is mediocre at best. I will not recommend it to anyone. There are good Chinese restaurants in the area, just not this one.

Chinese buffets seem to follow the same recipe for decor and service. Sparse decorations, old furniture, and lackluster attention from staff. The food is where the differences are and this place just fails at it. Bland food and it has the very typical and expected recipes. There is a sushi and raw bar, but only two other bars with sub-par fried foods. Its just nothing special. Caution on the ice cream for desert-- it is not soft serve and its half melted by the time I had lunch at 3:30. I didnt hate it, but Im not coming back.

Sushi quite good. Barbecued boneless spare ribs were perfectly cooked. The Crispy Chicken Legs had a delicious light crispy tempura batter over a skinless leg! Yummy! The egg roll and spring rolls were good quality. Although they were slow, the food was hot and fresh. Chilled shrimp available. Salad bar was limiting if thats your "thing". Table service was friendly and attentive. We went back again a week later and everything was"off". Inconsistency kills your following. We will pass on trying again!

The food was so bad, stale, cold, they would not refill the food, all the options were super empty and it was not refilled at all. The service was bad as well, I asked for sriracha and she said they didnt have any but we found some there. Then after we had paid someone from our party got up and grabbed a piece of gelatin and the lady screamed across the room that they were no to go options. Super bad service and overall very bad experience

The staff here is awesome n attentive. I have been coming here for over 10 yrs. The food is always good n fresh. The people who give this place a bad rap dont appreciate good Chinese food. The prices are very reasonable. I refer many 9f my customers here and all are happy. People complain because they have to tip. Really? Give me break. All restaurants add gratuities when there r more than 5 people. Whats wrong with everyone?

I came here for the first time and it was awful! I came in and there was like nobody there. When I got my food then the waiter brought my sweet tea that taste like lukewarm cold chlorine sweet water. The macaroni and cheese looked watered and tasted bitter. The noodles tasted like dry toenails. ALL JOKES ASIDE the place was a sad excuse for a restaurant. P.S. IF YOU WANT REAL CHINESE FOOD COME TO CHARLESTON SOUTH CAROLINA.

Place does have potential. Food is decent. Great stop if youre on vacation and looking for a variety of food choices for your children. Very quite but just think its in the wrong location. Would be a good idea if they offered carry out where you could go fill your box for a set price if youre in a rush and cant sit and eat. Family owned, staff are very friendly. I love to come here every now and again the soup is delicious.

They did not have many Chinese dishes it was mostly American food like Mac and cheese-water, fried chicken, and hot wings. Their menu on the other hand contains Chinese dishes you expect. The spring roll had a chemical taste to it and was not edible. The location was strange because its located in a storage building but was clean. The price for buffet lunch in 4/2009 is 6.99 and dinner is 10.99.
