Worse service I have had in my ENTIRE LIFE. Solange which is the girl who rudely attended us was completely clueless which isnt the worse part. Its the lack of wanting to learn or wanting to help the customer. Carefree. I kindly asked what type of juices they had and she shrugged her shoulders saying I dont know; I responded by asking her to ask so she asked and as she was turned asking she began repeating the names the manager (another illiterate person) was telling her. I couldnt listen so I asked her to repeat them again and she rolled her eyes and repeated them then when I asked her for guanabana said she didnt have anymore so then I asked for melon and she went to get it when the manager said no we dont have that type! When we asked for the breakfasts she was obviously bothered by the request because it was afternoon time and literally said a quote in Spanish meaning "the cook isnt going to like this one bit". Then when giving up the food, she forgot about my famous juice, forgot out toast, then when I told the manager we didnt have our toast she said "well I wasnt the one helping you" and called Solange. Really??? We dont care about whose mistake it is... We just want it solved. If the manager is this childish and has this lack of regard for customers I can see why everyone there is lost. Solange was in the back then came to the front and had the toast just sitting there. The table was moving back and forth so we came close to spilling our coffee! This place has a amazing potential sadly the staff is the worse of the worse; this was on a Monday afternoon, I can only imagine the lack of control the staff has weekends. Im appalled by the service, being a frequent customer in South Florida I expected more from you guys! Even the cook looked extremely dirty/ full of sweat without wiping and wasnt wearing a cap while cooking!!! Additionally the drive thru is out of service! Then to put the icing on the cake; THEY DONT SPEAK ENGLISH!! Pincrest bakery maybe in Pinecrest you can pull of hiring these illiterate workers but in the keys we need them to speak English to communicate and BUY from you!!! Pathetic!

The drive thru is working now! I went in today with a good friend, and was so happy we did! The selection is large, fresh, and widely varied. We stopped in for sweets, which we got. The gal behind the cournter was wonderfully friendly, and very sweet. I really appreciated that she worked with me in my limited spanish, my friend in English, and her coworkers in both. She was great about making reccomendations and took her time helping me figure out what food and drink would match my cravings. I wasnt totally clear on pricing, but I walked put with flan cheesecake, tres leches cake, a sizeable key lime tarte, a coconut cake, and a Cuban coffee for less than $15. The flan cheesecake is half flan, half cheesecake, and very rich. The coconut cake we had was my favorite - sweet without overpowering and the lightest tart glaze on top, great texture. The key lime tarte was a good size and the crust was flawless. Tees leches cake was splendid, but in a bowl, which I am unaccustomed to - still fantastic flavor, just needed to be eaten with a soup spoon. We will be going back for breakfast - what a selection of empanadas and pastries! Lunch to try the HUGE sandwiches. And basically any other time possible.

(Actually No Stars)Had a very bad experience at this bakery on the New Years Eve. With the women at the counter telling a different price for a cake, and then when billing it, she increased the price by almost 10$. And she wouldnt accept her mistake of mentioning the price incorrectly. Both my friend and I were completely shocked to be told that the price wasnt what we heard in the beginning. And they could not cancel the card transaction which was already charged. Finally, we had to leave the place wasting 30 mins(and new year already set in:() Our plan of getting a surprise New Year Cake for the kids sleeping in the car in time for New Year got cancelled due to this. However, the cakes looked good(but we didnt get to taste it). 24 hours bakery. And ladies at the counter doesnt speak great English(but were able to tell numbers, which they messed up in our case).

This is the place for sweet tooth urgency and I am going to tell you why. One of the things that saddens me about American bakery items is that what you are often getting just a sponge cake with some generic filling to make a lot out of very little diversity. Not here. This reminds me of actual confectionery products from my trips to central and southern America. They have a huge variety of pastries, empanadas, chaussons, mousses, cheesecakes and chiffon like cakes (well, the baking style names are quite different on the southern side of the border but, you can envision what I mean with the categorization). Their English is a bit limited but, if you look past that you will definitely find something that will hit the spot.

I gave five stars but actually unhappy. The cakes are too sweet and I have hard time eating two of them. I got Marquesita Charlotte and a coffee Rum Cake, and gosh am I struggling!!! See picture for how far I managed to eat them. Not to speak I got a cookie and I cant even try it. The service is fine. Some dont speak English, and I dont speak Spanish. So bring a Spanish speaking wife as I did and you are good (pointing at cakes and smiling did not work for me to order...)

We walked here every morning from the RV resort across the street. Fantastic cuban coffees and lattes, with mouth watering pastries in the glass case. Very good muffins and fruit pastries. Staff are all Cuban I believe, and some could not speak or understand English very well, so communication was a bit difficult at times. But highly recommend for the coffee type drinks and bakery goods.

One of the young ladies at this location is very pleasant I believe her name is Arlette besides that the girls are normally talking amongst themselves dont hear or pay attention to the questions youre asking them the drive-thrudoes not work and they could really use someone that speaks fluent English, I speak Spanish myself and find myself translating for the customers when Im there

What a selection! Terrific food. We had the Habbanero Spinach Wrap for first time...delicious combination. Bought two Eclairs to go...really good! Stop off and check this place out. Bring an appetite! Faviana was our server. We had some good laughs over my lack of Spanish and her lack of English but we got our food with a smile...lovely young woman.

Pinecrest has a large variety of desserts and lunch options. If you are in a hurry to get breakfast for visitors or dont feel like waiting or cooking, Pinecrest is a good option. Pinecrest is the only Cuban bakery I know of so it is very busy sometimes; however, lines do move quickly and thr food is always good, true, Cuban food.

Staff was friendly and helpful, but I was expecting more typical bakery fare from home like cupcakes, pastries and donuts. The majority of delicacies offered here are hispanic origin. They do have some cake varieties and some cake pops. We sampled a few things but my kids really wanted cupcakes. Lol.
