We ordered 3 pounds of wings for pickup. Got them home and there was a total of 16 small wings, so I called and related to them my displeasure for which the manager stated that I could pick up 2 wings that I was shorted; taking the stance that 6 wings equaled one pound. I thought that the box seemed light, so I brought them to Winn Dixie to weigh them, for which to my surprise weighed a whopping pound and three quarters; which equates to being a total pound and one quarter short. I then bought one pound of the largest Winn Dixie wings that they had, which was larger than the Coves wings and to my surprise it totaled 12 wings. I then called the manager who was extremely rude as she stated that they weigh the wings when they are raw, then she hung up on me. I have an abundance of friends, as I am a business owner myself, who would find it very interesting of the deceptive practices of The Cove. If you go there and order wings, bring a scale or risk being ripped off too. Would have rated it a 0 if possible, does not even deserve a 1 star.

Well, I was surprised that there was such negative comments when we had always enjoyed our experiences here. Well, that has changed. The service was AWFUL!! I had to get the highchair, while holding the baby. We received no help setting up tables together (even though the day before when I called they said they would try to have a table ready for me - should have just been honest and told me they didnt care about our business!) Waitress didnt clear things as they were finished with, we had to ask for refills and the food was only so-so. Also, no one was interested in what was on the televisions so we requested to watch Nascar - well we were told they would change that and that didnt happen either. All this and the place wasnt even that busy. Dont think we will be back any time soon :( Very sad to see this place go downhill so badly. Waitress was lucky I tipped 10% cuz she surely didnt even deserve that much!

Location, location, location is what we love about this place the most - set back off the road, down a dirt road, along side a beautiful swamp.... Wings are EXCELLENT as they should be for being as pricey as they are (over $1.00/wing). Beer could be colder but its acceptable. Service is a little slow and inattentive especially at the bar. The staff is very young and a bit daffed, they could use some training and a few lessons in customer service and over-all courteous manners but, they get the basic functions done - eventually.

My family and i used to love this place for about twenty years,but lately the service is horrible and very rude. The wings are very good but there over priced.one pound and you usually get about six wings,no way thats the case.You also never get what you order,you will get what they want you to have and tell you thats how it comes.Its a joke. I will never go back.

6 people---4 had beer batter fish and chips---McDonald-Burger King-Wendys--much better at 70%less---2 had wings---8 wings for $8.80-they were not impressed--too much$$$for so little--the beer was cold but overpriced--we all have motorcycles and airboats---last time unless things improve---cold beer is good but not enough

The ambience and atmosphere are fantastic! The location right on the water is beautiful! The new owners are friendly and professional. The manager PJ went way out of his way to make us feel welcome and built us a beautiful fire outside. The food was delicious and the beer was cold! Great music too!

Waited an hour for a table and then mistakenly gave ours away to folks who just came in. They said "Oh, sorry we will buy you a beer." We do not really drink. Waited another 10 minutes and then just left disgusted. Poorly run, will not be back. I guess if you are not a regular, they just dont care.

Very good food, excellent service on a Saturday night. Prices are good for the quality of food. We had the JUMBO wings, the wet wings could have been a little wetter but thats my personal preference. Will definitely be back.

Havent been to The Cove in a while but the wings were small with no meat. Onion wrings were as usual great. They need to bring back the old wings because these were dry, way to crispy and unsatisfying !!! Stay away.

The new Cove is awesome! Its great to see its back and better than ever. Prices are what I would expect for the amount and quality of food. The Big Ass Burger is huge!! They have a Ton of beer on tap too.
