I could care less who Dave McGowan is. While he may be his ex-wifes problem, this has nothing to do with the patrons at this bar. No one knows the real story. This is a great little bar to hang out at, made my first visit of many this past Sunday. The bartender was very attentive, folks looked to be very nice. BTW, McGowan wasnt there because no one was offering free drinks or food, which at this bar they dont serve. If you want food you must bring it with you!

Nice place, good deals awesome Bartenders John and Pete are the ones in the first photo they are super friendly and make great drinks, people there are mostly nice lots of Boaties, Karaoke on Sundays! super fun pool table and darts, decent place for after hour relax time :) I recommend!

My wife and I were there in August 2014 and had a blast. We are from Cairns in Australia, and we only wish we had a decent, friendly bar like this here. We have traveled all over the world, and have never been made so welcome in a bar before, We will be back.
