I went here with high hopes after seeing the review average. We were a bit taken aback by the price of the sandwiches, especially considering the competition, but we were already there, so decided to go with it. If it was as good as the reviews sounded, it might nearly be worth it. The sandwiches are listed as "overstuffed." I would go with adequately stuffed. While they look big in the photos, all of the meat is piled up in the center. By the time you spread it over the bread, its an average amount, certainly not up to the standards of NY delis like Stage. The rye bread was better than average in flavor. The meat was okay, but a bit light on taste and on the fatty side. If you want "extra lean," you have to pay an extra $1 on top of the already $12.50 sandwich. The pickle was dreadful, flaccid and very little dill. One bite and we were both done. While normally this would be a 3 star review for the food, there are two things that took it down a notch. This was an $8, not a $12.50, sandwich and.......there was a hair in it. Yup, a hair (which I didnt find until I was almost finished), will always cost at least a star.

My friend and I had a terrible experience at this Jewish deli. We usually go to this deli 2-3 times a week. Today we ordered the usual corn beef for my friend and the joyce for myself. The older man who took the order from us looked like he just ate because he had white crumbs (mayo and white bread) around his mouth. As he was taking the order he was talking to us and all that cramp was falling onto or rye bread. We let the older lady in the front (the one with the Movado watch) know about the situation and it was like she couldnt believe us. When we said we werent going to eat there she was very disappointed; we also asked to be courtious how much do we owe and she actually charged us for the sodas(4 dollars). Instead of being empathic she was very nonunderstanding! This will be the last time my friend and I will eat at this joint. No one should eat white crumbs from the lips or the mouth of someone who just ate.

The Sandwiches were piled high with top quality deli on exceptional bread. The food is as good as the staff is welcoming. Google had incorrect hours posted and I walked through open doors, after closing time, to pick up some food for family in nearby Holy Cross hospital. Even though the deli was buttoned up and everybody was prepared to leave to enjoy a sunny Sunday afternoon, they took off costs, threw on an apron and prepared mountainous Sandwiches for me to take back to the hospital. Tuna, roastbeef and BLT Sandwiches were all examples of how great deli looks and tastes. I will be back whenever I am in the area. I am a former multiple restaurant owner of 20 years and seldom write reviews. This spot deserves everybodys support. You will be pleased you made this stop.

I understand the whole huge portion thing, but a breakfast sandwich that falls apart completely when you try and hold it in your hand is ridiculous. Not to mention its so disproportionate that it wasnt enjoyable. I asked for salt, pepper and ketchup on my sandwich and when I went to pay $22 for two breakfast sandwiches and two snapples (absurd and ridiculous $ for breakfast) they asked me if I wanted salt, pepper and ketchup. Uh yeah thats why I asked over the phone for it. Oh and they didnt start cooking my food until I got there which made me run late for work.. I cant review them for lunch or dinner nor will I since I will never go there ever again

I have to say, the food in general is good same as the portions, the first time we order everything was ok, but the second time we order toasted bagel and the poor bagel past the level of toast, it was burned for be more specific it was black , very disappointed , today Monday 1/26/16 one of the girls order chicken salad platter and they send a scoop of the chicken salad plus other things that were not there, I understand that is a lunch hour and they busy and receiving a lot of calls but they need to be careful and write down the orders like the costumers want it , if not what is the point , thank you

This place is very over priced. $12 for a sandwich that has no flavor. Katz deli in Williamsburg Brooklyn is $18 a sandwich and worth every penny. The owner is very snobby and condescending. Do you really think we cant taste the cheap meat that you give us? The old owners before him had a good thing going. They were old fashioned and knew how to treat the customers. The new owner is all about the profits and customer service/ quality of meats is definitely low on his list. This place was a fine establishment years ago, and now nothing special.

Been here multiple times over the years and will continue to go back. Fantastic sandwiches. I wish they served with dills instead of half-sour pickles. Is that being picky? The meats are fresh and delicious. Sliced thin and piled high. Enough to share. Good rye and pumpernickel bread. Kind of like some delis I have been to up north. The ordering process has been streamlined. Place your order at the cashier. The guys on the line have been there a while and work together well. Mouth is watering just thinking of my next sandwich there.

Poor customer service. Placed an order to go on Hub and there wasnt an option to add cheese to my order. Called and tried to add cheese and instead of just giving me the cheese they rather refund my check and re ring the whole order. Over a $1. Because they cant just charge me $1. Something so simple. Yet so complicated. You would think that they would just give you the freakin cheese! Nope! Spoke to the owner himself. Rude, disrespectful and completely ignorant. Not a way to treat customers.

Ive been eating g here for 40 years. Hands down best NY style deli in the area. Be sure to try their cream cheese nova spread! Have to edit my previous review. Its so sad what has happened to this place. I was a baby over 40 years ago when I started going here. Now with the new owners prices are up quality is down and the last 4 pick-up orders Ive placed there have been wrong. Very sad day for me but Im done with this place. I hate change but its just gotten ridiculous.......

We finally found a great place today for corn beef sandwiches. We have been going to Pastrami club for 12 years but they went out of business. We have been searching for a while for good corn beef sandwiches and we found it today at POMPERDALE, NY Deli on Commercial Blvd. Cute place, nice atmosphere, the owner even came over and talked to us. Thanks for an awesome sandwich. Don & Linda Delia

VERY VERY VERY BAD SERVICE. We will never come back again not because of our food was terrible but because they have a terrible service. I dont know how to post a picture of the worst Caesar chicken wrap and avocado turkey wrap (no avocado by the way) and sooooo dry. The worst part is that they dont even accept a complain and for them the customer is never right. Not recommended at all!
