Im not givig the restaurant 1 star. The restaurant it self deserves 5 stars! Im giving the manager a negative 0 star. Very disgusted with the manger that was on shift on Thursday @ 4:30pm 2/16/2017 I tried getting his name more than 5 times and when he did tell me, it sounded like he was mumbling his name. I think he said Sal (not sure) I heard everything else clearly that came out if his mouth after that. Weve been coming to Moonlight Diner for over 10 years now and never had we had a complaint nor an issue. The service is exceptional and the food is pretty good. I called to let them know about our to go dinner that we ordered the night before and the manager came on the phone I proceeded to explain to him that our 3 orders of buffalo chicken wrap had blue cheese and sliced carrots and very little chicken I didnt get to explaining to him how our sweet potatoes fries were not fully cooked before he shut me up by saying "and what do you want me to do about it, I dont have any proof so therefor I can not help you" I explained to him that weve been coming there for years and that we had a $48.42 receipt on top of a 20% tip for a to-go order as proof and still this malicious, unprofessional manager could not even apologize or hear me out. All I called for was to see if this is the way it was made now but, he never gave me the chance by shutting me up and not listening to one word I had to say. Im sad to say that after 10+ years of being loyal customers we will not be returning after the treatment I received from him. I will definitely miss all of servers especially Mathew aka Matt (hes the best btw).

This is the first time ive been to the Moonlite diner. I drive by it all the time and always wondered about the food. First of all, the menu is huge. You can order breakfast anytime of the day (i believe) and vice versa. We went around noon time on sunday and it was quite busy, but we got a table right away. Coffee was good, server was good, oj was pulpy (if you like that, than youll love it). We pigged out so, we had the meat & cheese omlette, 1/2 order pancakes, and an array of sides to try. All the food was really good. Gravy for the biscuits couldve been warmer, same goes for grits. Omlette was large and full of ingredients. Pancakes were soo light, fluffy and buttery (just what you want from a pancake). My bf had the chocolate chips in his, and they were fully loaded with them. bacon-- crispy, toast--toasty, biscuit--slightly stale. the only "real" complaint ill give this place is that the Orange Juice is WAYYY over priced. Like $3 for a glass!! Other than that, ill be back. Just wont order OJ.

I virtually never write reviews, but as I sit upon a toilet for what must be the twentieth time in two days, I feel compelled to save others from my own fate. I hate to write this kind of thing but its the unadultered truth. I ordered a double bacon hamburger, medium rare as I always do. Through UberEats it was delivered to my hotel, and after my first bite I immediately noticed how absurdly pink the center was. "Perhaps its the strange hotel lighting," I foolishly told myself. "Im sure I can trust the Floridians." I was only able to make it 3/4 of the way through the burger, and something immediately felt off. I went to bed, and six hours later awoke to flaming bowels and incessant sweating. I ran to the bathroom and the burgers contents evacuated my colon like the Exodus Jews fleeing Egypt. A few hours later the vomiting began. Ill spare you any further detail, but its been two days and the symptoms show no sign of stopping. Please, heed my warning. Spare yourself from this God-forsaken place.

Saw this place across the street from my hotel, it looked like a classic diner and it was. Immediately walking in, I was greeted by 3 big smiles from several employees in and around the front entry. Good start to a great meal. The young girl, Lucy, who was my server, made several recommendations and I finally decided on the Reuben sandwich. What a great decision, a classic diner staple made to perfection. The rye bread was toasted perfectly and piled high with tender corned beef, saurkraut, 1000 island and melted Swiss cheese. It was a gastronomic orchestra of flavors and the crescendo was the piping hot crinkle cut fries served on the side! My server checked back on me several times as well as Terry and Ali, great service all around! I will be in town for a few weeks so I wIll definitely be back! 5 stars all around!

Food and servers were excellent especially Elizabeth but beware of the manager Spiro as he was yelling at the servers in front of our table about everything constantly. He is the worst and most disrespectful manager Ive ever seen. He is an all around classic jerk. I do not know if I will be returning. Its sad that the servers have to work under his horrible management and that customers have to hear him causing a scene scolding them when they were doing their job perfectly. Ive worked in the restaurant business and I know how it works. Im shocked, this was absolutely ridiculous!

This place used to be really great but over the past few months its been sliding. The biggest problem they have is consistancy. You could go there a couple times and get the same dish and depending on the cook it could range from being the greatest thing ever to just being rubbish. Thats if you get what you ordered. Sometimes they just decide to not give you things that normally come with it. They recently trimmed the menu back which is a shame since they lost some good stuff. You would think that would help the cooks but instead its confused them more.

Be very cautious. Someone, Im guessing our waitress, stole my CC#. I was in FL for a week, used only 1 CC. 2 weeks later got a call from my Cc risk dept saying someone was trying to use my #. I had all my receipts, checked my statement for 2 months, all charges came through except Moonlight diner!!! Guess they figured if it wasnt on the charge, wed forget some of the places we were. I kept my receipts. Im sure Im not the only one. Warned everyone I know in that area.

The place is a 50s style diner: booths, counter service with stools, chrome, vintage art, just plain comfortable. Partner and I ordered the exact same thing, shrimp poboy. If you are from New Orleans, Biloxi, Savannah or Charleston you are going to say that their poboy is not the real thing (fresh) and I agree. But it was good for diner food. Lots and I mean lots of shrimp. And tasty too. I would recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. And a great milk shake.

Im embarrassed to eat here..........because I could not decide what to order! Everything looked so good that my wife and I ordered enough for 4 people. Everything was delicious and made to perfection. We had the Corned beef hash with French toast. Service was great exept the waitresses that helped our waiter out were giggling at the amount of food we ordered. So good! We basically had to roll ourselves to the car.
