First time customer the service was excellent, we had to take sometime to order not used to the establishment, was disappointed that that the Spring Rolls were no longer available at 6:20, ordered the Tuna Sliders WOW they were great. then came the Fish and Chips Large piece was just slightly over cooked. but a wonderful texture still. was served wit a side of slaw and chips. We were at the bar and watched them shuck oysters, my wife said when we return she said that what she will order. during our meal I asked for a another order or Tartar sauce. Upon reviewing my bill I noticed that I was charged .25 for an extra helping of Tartar sauce. Upon reviewing this with the waitress she advised us that the owner makes them pay for any extras out of the Kitchen. so they pass it on.. WOW I thought was a cheap thing to do to customers, out of principal I shall never return to that cheaply run place. they probably refill the Ketchup Bottles...

I will never go to this restaurant again. I was there last Wednesday and had to use the ladies room. At some point it looks like someone bashed in the door, the wood was all broken and there was no way to close the door. Not to mention that the place was also filthy and the floor looked like there may have been a flood in there. Disgusting!! Its not like the place just opened up, theyve been there for several years. Apparently no one has any interest in keeping the place up. This ladies room was so bad it reminded me of the outside bathrooms that used to be available at gas stations, they were deplorable as well!! There are enough restaurants in Lee County now that no one needs to put their health on the line to go to a filthy disgusting place like Rustys in Estero. You will never see me there again.

Impersonal and uncomfortable. They say they are laid back and local, but they are so very far from that. Ordered a bottle of beer and they offered me a bucket. Well, they brought over a bucket of 5 beers , opened, in a bucket. I asked if they could just keep them unopened and on ice for me, but she gave me some lame excuse and just said no. If you are a local bar, I would think that you would want to maybe develop a comfortable setting rather than opening 5 beers and coming back 2 hours later. My bartender got very defensive and claimed that it got very busy and she couldnt keep track. Not the bartender I would hire ! So very NOT laid back and local.

Without a doubt, the worst battered Cody fish I have ever had. The fish had the consistency of leather and was grey in color, the batter was overcooked and was made using the wrong flour, it was more like deep fried overcooked bread. To top everything off the portion was very small for the price. If you dont know what battered Cod should look and taste like stick to oysters or get a cook that knows what hes doing. I sent the first offering back to the kitchen only to be presented with another piece just as bad as the first!

I love this place but I hate the service. One day its good, the next it takes 10 minutes to get a drink. Even when they are slow they just look at you and walk away when your trying to order. Bryan is about the only good bartender we have had, the rest only catch up with their friends.

Love that this place supports locals. One of the managers brought a ton of girl scout cookies to support my daughter while outside of publix. It made her day! They obviously know that locals mean alot. I am now a fan of Rustys!!!

I imagine thia place varies in ratings on the day of the week. The service wasnt great but the atmosphere was pretty good. Food is average quality. I would say that the drinks are over priced, the bomb was $7.55.

Food was excellent. Got the beans and rice with blackened chicken. Awesome!!! The mahi mahi tacos were very good. Service could have been a little more friendlier but food made up for it. Will for sure go back.

The server Cody beaver very attentive and the crab balls were delicious and the grouper there also tasted very good... the beer was cold... lots of TV sets for everybody...too many buckeye fans here. Haha

Good food and service. Boneless chicken wings are really tenders and son didnt like and very salty and fried. Other than that they took off our check because he couldnt eat it. So handled well.

Rustys never disappoints. Great staff. Wonderful food. The ranch dressing and cocktail sauce are some of the best Ive ever had. Weird, I know, but Im telling you, I would bathe in either one.

Want fresh oysters? This is the place to be! Its name isnt very inviting but the oysters, wings and cheese fries are! We love coming here. This is definitely a locals spot.

Food is ok.Overpriced.. I had dozen clams and 15 hot peel and eat shrimps with two beers. I payed $40.00 and this is at happy hour prices. Not too happy.
