The once king of the hill of the kitchy Lakewood casual dining scene has fallen and it cant get up. Oh Rush Inn, to visit you on a brisk 1989 fall evening must have been something to see. Are you a bar, are you a restaurant? Nobody knows and the bewilderment breeds excitement. But time marches on and so does the apathy of your no longer hip clientele. you have been replaced on the path to hipster heaven, several times. I fear you are far past a "New Menu" or clever acoustic duo to save you now and only the memories of single men in their 50s remembering their 20s keep your cash register tape slowly turning. Seriously, you need to update your cash registers!

Where do I start... The wings here are quite possibly the answer to world peace. A flavor explosion, rivaled by none other, the chicken that were deemed worthy enough for the pleasure bathing themselves in the nectar of the kitchen-Gods are now free-range behind the pearly gates in Heavens special kitchen. Not only that, but the food is so precious, that my 2 year old manages to close the perpetual-energy machine she calls a mouth from the moment the food is brought out until that last, bittersweet moment her final wing is stripped clean, and a wing graveyard is all that remains. Plus, beer.

I gave this place one star because I had to give a star to get to the review portion. Its 4 something on a Saturday afternoon and someone is absolutely abusing the touch tunes music player. Playing Bawitdaba and the rest of these Kid Rock songs and such an obscene volume is unacceptable. The staff should really be taking care of this and they dont seem to be bothered. The service otherwise has been great and Im sure the food is ok too, but I wont know because I CANT stick around to find out. Really, Kid Rock..

Ive lived in Lakewood for a few years and have been a few times. Ive started coming more frequently over the last few months and have never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff are absolutely amazing. They are friendly and fast and make everyone feel welcome. Its nice to go to a place where people realize the value of good service. Thank you!!!

Wonderful food - the wings were particularly great. Dont see a dry-rub on the wing flavor list very often. Good beer selection - not too microbrew, not too otherwise. Good size of crowd, not too loud or quiet. All-around great fun.

Nice local bar and restaurant with friendly and comical staff. Bar and booth seating is available and food is pretty good. Heads up but bathrooms are in basement in case you have physical limitations getting up or down stairs.

Great food, little bit quite atmosphere. Went on a Saturday night around 10PM, not overly crowded. Nachos, Black Velvet, and Conways Irish Ale ran about $20 (drinks were about $5 each). Staff was great, worth tipping 25%

Would not let me pay them more money for substitution on the menu, offered three dollars to not have to eat a onion bun.. could not believe it.. meh service. So many better places to Eat/Drink in Lakewood..

Although reasonably priced, the food here seems the same: reasonable. Not terribly great, not terribly bad; rather boring, flat fare. Booth seats are also uncomfortable.
