This is by far one of my favorite "local" spots in Cape Canaveral. It is a small place, with a counter with seating for 6 and about half a dozen tables, but the place is full of life and great conversation. I eat lunch there at least once a week now. It is a family owned and operated establishment that has Cuban and Mexican food, as the husband and wife team are from Cuba and Mexico. If you are looking for an amazing meal, and AUTHENTIC, for a small price... this is the place for you. Ask about the Coffee, youll love it! (and its free with every meal)

Amazing family owned shop with great Cuban food. I finally discovered it after living in Cocoa Beach my whole life, and I dont know how I lived without it before. Its a must for me whenever I come back and visit. Be careful of the espresso shots- you might get some tequila to help wake you up!

Couldnt give one star because the food is bomb..... However, not delicious enough to make up for the racist owner. Reading the other reviews I can see how he could be mistaken for a funny character, I enjoyed his wifes cooking SO MUCH, but we had to walk out today.

Vargas Cafe os the neighborhood go to place for authentic Cuban and Mexican staples. The service is great and they make you feel really welcomed. You get lots of fresh great food for the price. A great value for your money and a community gem.

What a great find! The owner is an old school gentleman with character and a zest for life. Consequently, his restaurant and food reflect his enthusiasm. We had the Cuban sandwich as well as the steak and egg sandwich with cafe con Leche. YUM!
