I cant say enough GOOD about Square 1 Burgers at University. I cannot understand any bad reviews whatsoever. We eat out often in this area. Everything is great about this place. We had the best experience and best food this evening. Tom, the Manager, was extremely pleasant. I cannot imagine anyone having anything but good food and great service. My husband is a fussy guy but he loved dining here. We will be back. I want to add that the burgers are not skimpy, as one reviewer said, we split a burger and had plenty with an appetizer of their fantastic onion rings and coleslaw. I should add we got the Juicy Lucy burger and it sure is juicy, ordered medium.

Our waiter was amazing, I wish I could remember his name. It was our first time at Square 1 and he explained everything, made suggestions, asked us about our tastes so that he could make a better suggestion, and overall was very personable and patient. Our food was unbelievably good. It was months ago and I still drool thinking about the burger I had, and the bite of hubbys burger that I stole haha. While this was typically higher in price than we would ever pay for burgers, mine was big enough for two meals for me and both were just ugh so good.

Start your meal with the WooHoo fries, which are regular fries drenched in mushroom gravy and cheese. They are surprisingly not too filling and youll have room for your entree, a burger of course. I had the Decadent Daddy (Kobe burger with caramelized onions, curly leaf lettuce, brie and sun-dried tomato mayo) which was served a perfect medium. Prices are reasonable, decor is more upscale than youd expect for a burger place, decent wine list and the staff is friendly, so you never feel rushed.

Be carful using the $30 beyond the bun Square 1 Groupon .. there are only 4 items on the menu that will qualify for this particular Groupon. Square 1 wasnt willing to let you use it unless all items purchased came from that menu selection. We spent $75 between the 2 of us but only $13 of that was from the "beyond the bun" part of the menu and we were told that this $30 Groupon could not be used. The staff is friendly but due to corporate rules, they could not do anything about this issue.

We went to have a late, casual birthday dinner, after 10pm. The service was over the top, with a very friendly and attentive waitress; the manager was equally so. We had a great dinner, Aloha Chicken and an all American burger, broccoli, baked beans, hummus appetizer, (1/2 off after 10). The sandwiches were cooked just right and tasty; broccoli fresh and cooked well. Management bought my birthday desert, the Zepps, sweet ricotta beignets served piping hot. Great!! Nice way to end the day.

Tried the Toga Burger.. its no wonder its award winning! My husband had the SOB "south of the border" burger and it was really good too! I dont know what their special sauce is they came with the onion rings but it was good on everything! Its a high end burger joint and was uniquely decorated with cow hide circle booths with chandeliers handing above. A very modern unique look and feel. Has patio seating also if you choose to eat outside.

Management sucks! They let my daughter go for what they said she was ineffective.WOW really,never missed a day,picked up other employees shifts,and always on time,thats crap,and to call her and tell her this,not in person is not the way management should be.its because season is slowing down,tell her the truth dont make her feel like a loser. wait until this gets around town.u might be closing.Sincerely Robert Davidson

This Square One is a frequent stop for work lunches. The staff are awesome and Ive never met a Square One burger I didnt like. For anyone who hasnt been here before, these guys elevate the pedestrian burger to a form of art. You want a turkey burger with an egg and A-1 sauce? Done. Angus with hot sauce and guac? Not a problem. Add some fries (regular or sweet potato) and youre good to go.

Food was disgusting. We ordered Kobe beef, which is supposed to be the best, it was greasy and left a terrible after taste. Too much grease and butter on the bun which made it soggy. The french fries sucked too.. How do you screw up a burger and fries? Oh and not to mention, my whole family got sick and I almost threw up that night... Bad food....

Would not come back. Poor layout of seating. Small tables. Good food. Poor service. Many server, managers, and staff on site, but no one taking care of tabels well. Entire staff avoids eye contact when my tabel clearly needed this or that. Literally was ignored as i stood up to wait for my check. This place is anything but awesome.

The atmosphere is great & I was greeted with a smile as soon as I stepped into the door by the bartender, Stephen. He presented professionalism and recommend an food option for me, great service .... Would definitely recommend this restuarant to anybody looking for a nice place to dine for dinner or just a lunch break

Great service, great food. We ordered the onion rings to start. They came with a ranch Chipotle sauce. Really great, but super greasy (as expected). I also ordered the All American burger, medium. It came out just as I ordered and it was better than expected. Serve was super quick and very attentive. Well be back!

Great burgers! I love this place and its even better that it is right around the corner from my office. Its a great place to go if you want a good burger. They have a great selection of different meats to choose from (kobe, bison, chicken, turkey, crab, and of course beef).

I love the trendy decor and the waitstaff is awesome. I had the chicken sandwich, which was good. My friend had the sliders, which were very small. In general, the portions were small for the prices charged. I would return for the happy hour but probably not for a meal.

Food was extremely delicious. I had Chicken Tortilla Soup. Definitely a great choice. We had Dill Pickle Chips and they make them fresh. If you are looking for for a nice place to dine we recommend Square 1. We had a Hannah for our server and she was very attentive.

Love this place so much! I eat low carb & healthy. I can stay low carb here and still get plenty of fresh veggies. I usually have the 3 shrooms burger on bed of greens instead of bun and steamed broccoli with drawn butter. And its way tasty. From a foodie couple.

Well, as the name already implies, this is the place to go for a burger! I laugh at all the restaurants that claim "best burger in town" and then serve you an inedible brick. Forget the fake hype and go here for a burger. They really ARE the best in town!

Good burgers, but very small for the price, $10. Doesnt even cover the size of the bun...my daughter got a 2 mini cheeseburger kids meal, and I think she got more meat on hers then I did on my burger. Probably wont be back anytime soon..
